The greatest rock singer in the world, the greatest rock band in the world.❤ Their Live at Wembley (1986) are fire.🔥 I attended their concert on June 14, 1986 at the Vincennes racecourse in Paris (I am French) When Freddie arrived on stage, I remained amazed by his magnetism, I was in the second row, yet I had the impression that he was only singing for me, it was strange, Freddie seemed to me at the same time very far and very close, something mysterious, indefinable, emanated from his being. It was at this concert that he first wore his crown and court coat, he was literally royal. Brief ! Since this concert, I'm a Queenie. Greetings from France.
I love your comment so much that I’m going to post it in my Queen groups . It touched me to the core . I’ve loved Freddie my whole life and adore the boys. Thank you and God Bless.
Brian May (started the song), John Deacon, Roger Taylor and Freddie Mercury are the 4 members of Queen. All 4 are masters of their craft which when brought together created pure magic. Love the pure joy you are experiencing with discovering Queen.
Brian May wrote this, and opens the song with his warm, soft, angelic vocals - which then resolve into Freddie’s richer, more powerful voice. While this official recording was absolutely perfect for the scene in Highlander it was made for, the song is even more brilliant live, with all the lead vocals done by Freddie only… Brian’s guitar section is even better, John’s bass is like a heartbeat, and Roger’s drumming is exquisite.
Now that you've seen this one, you have to listen to his song with Montserrat Caballé called "Barcelona". Freddie loved opera and sang a demo called "Exercises in free love" and then created "Ensueno" with Montserrat based on the tune from this demo, these two songs are worth listening to too, a completely different side incredible to know about Freddie😊 Also, I love seeing your reactions, you have an incredible energy which makes me want to watch your videos, thank you and keep it up!
Queen did so many genres, that they really could not be boxed into a specific category. You really need to do Tie Your Mother Down or Now I'm Here both live from Wembley.
If you’ve never seen the movie The Highlander you should definitely watch it. Queen’s music in the movie takes you through a journey of different genres. The main character is a Scottish immortal. This song is played as his love grows old and dies in his arms while he never ages. Other Queen songs in the movie include , One Year of Love by John Deacon, Princes of the Universe by Freddie, Gimme the Prize by Brian May, and A Kind of Magic by Roger Taylor.
Freddie Mercury piano lead singer, Brian May guitar, vocals, Roger Taylor drums, vocals, and John Deacon bass, occasional vocals. You should check this one out live at Wembley 86
I love this song, written by Brian for the Queen Soundtrack for the movie Highlander. Your volume is so low that even when I turn up my PC volume and the CZcams volume to 100% I can barely hear the music. Thank you for your time and your reaction. Queen live is an experience of a lifetime. It is a feast for the senses and when I would leave the arena, I would be on a high for days. Best concerts ever and I have been to more concerts than I can count, of all the great artists but nothing is like a Queen Concert.
The man that sang at the beginning was Brian May (guitarist). You should hear Roger Taylor (drummer) sing! Check out Killer Queen/I'm In Love With My Car medley live from Montreal!!
“Who Wants to Live Forever” was composed by Queen guitarist, Brian May and sung on the album version and video as a duet between himself and Freddie Mercury. Synths parts were played on a Yamaha DX-7 by May, and the orchestra was arranged and conducted by Michael Kamen. John Deacon did not participate on the original recording (but the video features him playing a white double bass), and Roger Taylor played some drum-machine parts and contributed backing vocals. The percussion was taken over by the orchestra as well as bass (double bass in this case). It serves as somewhat of a “love theme” of the movie Highlander, as it adds to the sub-plot of the movie (in the film, Mercury sings the first verse as well, unlike the album version, which has May singing first).
Brian May wrote this for the movie Highlander. All of the guys wrote something for that movie. Also, You you should go to their albums and start with them. Early Queen (70's) music is great.
I think you may be ready to see Freddie singing with opera singer Montserrat Caballe! "Barcelona", "How Can I Go On" and "The Golden Boy". They will blow you away.
Vabbè l'entusiasmo per il brano ed il grande Freddie ma la canzone è molto profonda e significativa che certi eccessi mi sembrano alquanto fuori luogo.
I love your reactions. Please, please check out Queens "No-One but You (Only the Good Die Young)". They did it after freddie's death. It is different and heartbreaking. Lots of love from Gremany❤
Freddie was a gift from god.
R.I.P FREDDIE
