- Bullet Motorsports Inc. specializes in the sale of the AM General Humvee platform. This is a fully serviced unit that is in excellent shape. This is a turn key Humvee as it sits. This is the perfect vehicle for advertising / off-roading /camping / zombie hunting. This is a Florida Titled street legal truck that needs nothing to enjoy. We have a 1 year wait on custom Humvee builds and a 2 month lead time on basic builds like you see in this listing. We can add additional accessories and or modify this unit to your liking, such as hard doors, lifts, custom wheels, 12 volt accessories, along with custom fabrication.
Interior:
The interior is in great condition, all of the lights, switches, gauges, and buttons are in working order. We have replaced all of the interior cushions and hardware. All of the gauges are in working order. Yes, the temp gauge reads correctly. Heater operates, as it should. Brand new OE Black seatbelts on all 4 corners, that retract correctly. All the insulation padding is still in place.
Exterior:
The exterior has been touched up in Rapco paint. The body is straight with no major damage. Fiberglass front nose is in great shape no cracks. We installed a brand new top / doors / rear curtain. We touched up the underside in flat black Rapco paint as well. We installed our signature LED tag light bracket on the tailgate, along with Trucklite LED headlights. All Lights work along with side markers.
Drivetrain:
The Humvee is powered by a remanufactured 6.2L Diesel ( in 2002 ). It has plenty of power and will crawl up anything. We did not just make this truck look pretty! We actually serviced it! She has a set of brand new batteries and a brand new generator to match that flows a constant 26.5v. The list below will cover all the items we replaced and or touched. You can shift on the fly with no binding, slap it in neutral then select HL or L and there are no special techniques needed. We adjusted all the linkages for ease of operation. Steering is tight with no issues. Tires have around 90% tread with run flats installed. This truck does not overheat, the TDM works as it should and the fan cycles properly ensuring proper cooling even in the 98 degree heat of Florida. We build these trucks then test them for 30 intense miles, anything we find abnormal after the initial test is replaced or repaired.

So not recommended to run at 55 mph ?
Pete 454, 55 is the maximum recommended highway cruising speed. It's fine to run 50-60 mph all day. I've driven mine like that for over a year without any issues. I've gotten it over 70 mph a few times, but that is not good for it. The geared wheel hubs don't like that and your running the motor at really high RPMs.
But 55 mph is fine. It was made to run at that speed as normal.
What is the thing that is fastened in the brush guard that is connected in the humvee hood grill???
I've street legalled a "homemade motorcycle" (ohv with swapped frame in a not-dualsport-friendly state). Street legaling these should not be hard. DMV form signed by state police saying theyve inspected the vin, and either (depending on state) a signed statement by you or DOT inspection signed by a dealership/mechanic attesting that it has all required DOT approved lights, tires, and a horn. Tho this was the process to do a bike, I imagine it should be just about identical..
So how fast can you go max. with a humvee so that it doesn't get used up while doing so
