Maverick Camper Trailer 5 Month Review - What Broke? Ranger Limited Slide off road camper

UPDATE ON REPAIR - After waiting 8 weeks for a new main tent pole I was told that it would likely not come in for a few months if at all. Was told to find my own repairer for the pole. Made several calls with no success so requested Maverick arrange a repairer. 4 days later was organised and repaired within an hour by Man of Steel Fabrication in Campbellfield. You guys are legends.
This review covers 3 main points, cost and value for money, quality of materials and build quality (you see what broke), and functionality and usability.
[1:43 - 2:15] For the $25k price we paid we are happy with our purchase. Lots of inclusions, value for money and everything we needed. 4.5☆
Additional information relevant to purchase is the communication with the dealer. Part of the reason we chose Maverick was the expected delivery time of 4 months from purchase. I had to send emails every month for updates and eventually we received the trailer 11 months after purchase due to Covid.
[2:15 - 3:35] Overall build and material quality is good. 3.5☆ Structurally this trailer is very solid. With Large thickness Drawbar and thick Chassis. However the quality of the tent poles, strut welds and roof rack leave some to be desired. Maverick Campers in Campbellfield have been contacted for Warranty and to arrange a time to take it in to make repairs, but we have to wait for the main tent pole to arrive from China before that happens. I am being told 2 - 3 weeks but will confirm time frame on completion though when I eventually do receive a response.
The communication from Maverick in regards to warranty and repairs is lacking. I am going upwards of 7 days at times before getting a response and only get replies sometimes after multiple emails and text messages. Completing a warranty claim form is easy enough to do online but don't expect a prompt response or even an acknowledgement that the warranty claim is received.
[3:35 - 4:48] Functionality and Usability. The main reason we chose Mavericks Ranger Limited Slide was because of its layout. Having the kitchen, control panel and fridge compartment easily accessible on one side of the camper sold it for us. 4.5☆ You can easily control all the lights, pumps, sockets and fridge controls from the one panel. Having the fold up dish drying rack, stove light and slide out bench space are another added benefit. The only shortfall I have with it is the time it takes to fully set up the camper with annex and the lack of plans included for how to put it together, but that is mainly because I am used to camping in a bivvy or swag.

Nice. Have you tried getting the poles fixed by the maufacturer? What was their response? How long is the warranty?

I have been in contact with Maverick and trying to arrange a time in July to take the trailer in for repairs to attempt to reweld the struts and adjust the hand brake.
I also have to wait for the main tent pole replacement to come from China before that work can be done. But I can't use the trailer until it is done.
The chassis comes with a 5-year limited lifetime warranty and the rest has a 1 year limited manufacturers warranty.
Responses from Maverick have been sporadic and sometimes require multiple email enquiries due to Covid.

@@MaverickCampers it was fixed. It took 2 months of back and forth to get it arranged with the dealer but the repair was done in just over an hour with a weld and sleeve put over the weak point.
