Catrike Max: Mike Test Rides and has an opinion

The Catrike Max is a trike i was seriously considering before i ended up with my Azub Ti-fly. Its a decent trike with plenty of space. It has Easy entry with grab assist handles. The only thing I did not like about it was it had only one chain ring up front and the gears in the back just were not enough to overcome the lack of gears up front.
Regarding the 'blob' on the screen
If you dont get the microphone wire just right, it shows up in the video. i think i bumped it when getting the trikes ready to go and it was in view just enough to cause an issue. Kind of a bummer. Thanks for watching.

@@TrikeWithMikeTX OK, we just couldn't figure out what it was. So does the Max have a front derailleur post you could add a derailleur and triple chainwheel set 🤔

@@outandaboutontherecumbents i will have to ask John. or Catrike themselves. I know most go to one chainring when they go to e assist but they usually dont suffer in performance. i think if you were going to go to all that trouble, i would look at the 559 instead and it has the added benefit of folding
