that girl talking about qt’s depression was extremely fucked up. i was in chat and it kinda messed me up, and a few other people in chat too. so many people don’t speak up about their depression because we’re scared of being accused of wanting attention, seeing someone actually saying it towards someone who is very candidly talking about their depression (including professional help they get) actually hurt.
i’m very glad slime said what he did, he handled it a lot better than other people would.
omg ppl like that are why i didnt go to the doctor to get diagnosed until i was 20, even tho i had been suffering for years.
it’s especially fucked that they’re masquerading as some like mental health advocate, saying qt is “glamorizing depression” as if they think they’re helping the community. like if mental health is something you truly care about, you should know better than anyone not to assume what a person is feeling or going through, and now you’re just creating a hostile environment for people who need support. that really got on my nerves
