- The Pixel 7 Pro is the latest flagship from Google. The design is very similar to last year, but the whole thing just has a more elegant vibe to it now - thanks to the new polished aluminum camera bar. I haven’t seen the other colours in person, but this Hazel colour is beautiful! Here are my thoughts on Pixel 7 Pro after 7 days!

I definitely liked your light-handed review you did. It was refreshing to hear a different voice/narrative. But I especially liked that you showed the face unlock and the fingerprint scanner multiple times. That is valuable information that sometimes is glossed over in other previews
This is a GREAT review that moves through the points with great impressions. The accompanying video helps make the case. Too many reviewers spend this amount of time on two or three pet peeves or features.
Probably the best review I've seen of this phone. Quick, to the point, and focused on practicality and everyday experience.

I haven't watch phone related videos for quite some time now, but is thinking about getting the PIxel 7 Pro. So here I am watching phone videos.
Happy to see how big Thao's channel have grown and it's still as cheerful as ever. Plus Thao gets right into the user experience of a device and how people would normally use it, rather than be overly focus on specs.
Great review as always. Even though you are my go to for Samsung trust me that as your little one gets older only iPhone or Google Pixel from mainstream US/UK phones can handle kids and pets due to the low shutter lag (especially portraits).

I have had the phone for about a month now and it's not too bad with bugs, but there are issues with camera app glitching and sometimes the phone freezes up

I always enjoy your review because you always point out what the phone can do. Unlike other reviewer, its just about the camera rather than a phone. But of course pixel is always good with its camera. Looking forward your tips and tricks video of pixel
Great video, for signal strength a 4db difference is a lot, and a 15db is massive. when testing make sure the phone is on an active call and don't use the phone menu view of signal as it may not update correctly. apps loke network cell info lite may help better understand the difference. SINR is also another important component. the delta provided you would have experience a difference between your samsung and the pixel.
I currently using Pixel 6 pro for last 10 months, but after so many update, I often have dark columns (not black, slightly opaque, like under a shade) on the preview and final picture. If I let it wait a couple second after I open camera app, it will be normalize, but you may have missed the shot you want, and also phone get warms after 10-15 mins using Google Maps on my car dashboard's phone mount. Also Mark's Tech just released a video about overheating and shut down cell service after about 20 mins of video calling.
Do you experience any issue close to those on your P7 Pro?

Good review. Keep focus more about the chip real life performance, the animation, finger sensor, face unlock, the heat..., a lot youtuber only talk about camera and fancy AI stuff

Hey Thao, really want to get this phone, but I'm also considering the iPhone 13 Pro. I'd like some advice, also, does it overheat when you make video calls for like 20 mins or does it generally overheat?

Do you think the shadows thing will improve in maybe a update I noticed the shadows are darker than they are on the pixel 6 pro ?

Great video, Thao! Would love to hear your feedback on the one major issue of connectivity that plagued the Pixel 6/6Pro last year. Did you have any dropped calls or poor reception when calling? Thank you so much :)
She will not be able to truly answer that for you because lots of area's just have different recpetion. I made plenty of call over the past year and do not recall having dropped called and poor recpetion on my 6 Pro. It did seem to have issues transitioning from a wifi call to mobile data call occasionally though.
@@wolf0491 I appreciate your input! I think it would still be helpful to hear Thao's thoughts because if she had connectivity issues with the Pixel 6 last year, but didn't notice any with the Pixel 7, then it's a clue that things might have improved
@@TeamMystic851 ahhh well i guess that is a nice point. seems they reworked antenna in general though espcially on the Pro. It no longer has that huge plastic bit on the top.
I like the rounded corners, pastel colors instead of using solid colors of pixel which they try to show off in the software. I seen they even did the same to CZcams ui as well.
This Pixel 7 Pro or S22 Ultra? Any tips? I cant decide which one.. Im more to camera person, social media & streaming. Not a heavy gamer.. 14 Pro max also one of my option, but been a android user for 10 years+, im not sure if apple ecosystem is the right one for me..

Thank you for comparing signal strength , much appreciated ( though I understand that this is not scientific , you will need an engineer in this field to do it properly ) since some people complained that the Pixel 6 / 6 Pro has poor signal reception.
Yeah they were using older modems in the 6. The 7 have newer ones.

i just got my pixel 7 i love it so far! is the only way to switch from vibrate/silent the side volume button? i wish there was an option to do it when you slide from the top like all the other widgets.

any overheating when outdoors on 5g and video recording?
Would you be willing to compare OneUI 5 and Android 13 this year? Would be super helpful-you've got a lot of experience with both. I was a Pixel owner who moved to Samsung, which I love, but the Pixel cam is just unbeatable. But, UI is really important to me. LOVE your videos!

what about overheating? my pixel 6 pro overheats when I record 4k. the only issue I have but it is annoying.

I shoot a small project w Pixel Pro + having on side my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. The results from Cellphone was Amazingly good & easy. Also Great review!!
