Wuthering Waves version 1.1 just dropped 2 days ago with new 1.1 echos and new databank level 21. The former max level databank level 20 with 80 percent chance of getting gold echos are now 100 percent with databank level 21. I love it but still hate it at the same time.
Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play action role-playing game developed and published by the game company Kuro Games. It was released on May 23, 2024. A gacha game with an open world aspect, Wuthering Waves has been compared to other titles such as Genshin Impact

Haven't u tried the "malleable echo" thing which we get from events? It gives element dmg bonus on correct set. I got some good rolls on it too

@@imx9734 some events will allow to claim malleable elite echo set. U can choose one of them from the list to get a 5 star echo (3 cost). Like fusion dmg bonus on fusion set. The Main stat is fixed but the substats still based on luck.

it's an extremely limited item that they give from events, not a reliable way to farm echoes, just a small bonus, you probably use them in your inventory without thinking much of it because that's just what it is, not much

I'm keeping every green, blue and purple or well at least some of them because I'd never see them again in my main account. I'd only get gold now so might as well keep the old guys to serve as memory.
If you join someone's world who has their databank like at lvl 10, you'll get their databank lvl echoes, so if you want the low level ones, just join someone who has low databank, but I don't get the point with it

They should really implement a system that allows you to reroll a single stat on your echo in exchange for discarding a duplicate as well as 10 Premium Tuners each time you wish to reroll.

I also wonder what is the point here. Only thing I can think of is that in general whole levelling system is a bit weird in those games. Getting gold echoes is nice, but if you suddenly always get them, then... it's nothing special anymore and all this race might feel kinda meaningless. If there are lower levels, like for echoes, I would want devs to take care to make them MORE meaningful, not less. Cause if it's only - the faster you leave them behind you the better - then what's even the point in the first place?... There could be many solutions to keep more 'tiers' / 'levels' relevant. Like making lower tier worse on average, but best items of this tier still competing with bottom items of higher tier. Or some niche / special advantages of lower tier. In Genshin even quite many 4* weapons are super valuable and competing with 5*s, in a few exception - even 3* weapons do compete. Two of 4* artifact sets still have some use too.
@@MarionFR then don't use gold ones if you don't want it. The blue and purple tier are for early builds anyways . Also why are you comparing it to gi weapons? You dont need to pull for them or collect resource for them. You can literally grind them without stamina on the map . Don't like the echo stats? Then reroll them

Since I'm telling that in general systems of levelling in games tend to be weird and pretty pointless. Case of weapons in Genshin is an example where items of lower tiers stay relevant and even more than relevant. I'm telling it's better when it's like that.
@@MarionFR 4 star weapons in WuWa are still useful as not many people get all of the 5 stars. They each have unique passives. And compare echo tier to artifact tier if you want to be fair. In GI, every artifact that has 5 star versions will make their 4 star versions inferior and less valuable. The reason why there are still a few pairs of 4 star artifacts that are used (or at least still has value) is because there is no 5 star version of them. If there is, the 4 star will be obsolete in an instant. Even then, people would prefer to use 5 star artifacts instead of "unique 4 star artifacts" in GI.
@@ayabahollow1204 Read again, I said about artifacts. Also, my point was about systems of levelling in general, not just about WuWa. And not about Genshin, it's just an example, cause I know it well. Don't try to argue about Genshin, when that was not the point, plus I absolutely don't care.
As for weapons, nope, you're wrong. WuWa is very much designed in a way that you just want to get 5* weapons. Simply differences in numbers are too big. Plus it's not that hard to get 5* weapons. We are barely starting the game and even without spending money or spending only a bit, you might fairly easily get three 5*s already in 1.1, two standard and one limited. Passives don't save 4* weapons much. In general so far energy weapons aren't super useful, it's not like in Genshin. We don't have 4* weapons that are as meaningful as fav series, or even sac. No, Ceaseless Aria weapons in WuWa don't have the same role. Maybe something will change in the future, but for now it's like this and whole game design suggests exactly the opposite, that it's just much about going for 5*s, that's all.

I'm just collecting them at this point and not planning to open them anytime soon (prob never who knows) lol I still haven't opened my 4* and 5* weapon selector yet. My brain is like preserve it until it's absolutely necessary. Let's see tho my luck is not that bad with echo stuff so far.

I also keep getting hp on my jhinsi’s echoes.
i rolled my 5 echos for jhinsi and got 18 crit damage on every piece and got absolutely 0 crit rate like what am i gonna be critting bro

I just wish that the un-upgraded echoes can be used as lvl up materials. Getting those materials is a pain in the ass. Not to mention the farming cost
