Yes, there will be reruns, however it would take quite some time. One sign is that there are achievements that require a certain character to be achieved as well as storylines where characters will resurface again.

Looks like Changli and Zhezhi are the most future proof units among these upcoming characters because of the values of their outro and skills. Hopefully we get enough currencies to pull both. XD
Logistically, power creep is ineffective in wuwa, because if you can’t dodge or parry attacks, you’re gonna die anyway, I’m a true encore main and despite power creep I’m going to keep playing her, as long as you have a proper build and good team set up, you’ll be fine, I’m gonna go for zhezhi, unless we get Xiangli Yao for free, I need dps gauntlets so I’ll need to pull for his sig, but I’m leaning more towards zhezhi
How about when they buff the stats for the bosses and bring in stronger characters to beat those bosses. At one point the older characters are gonna struggle more. That is if wuwa wants to make actual money.
Very True but I believe that's y holos were designed so far I would say there going at a fair rate and its more likely we see much stronger characters while the bosses are buffed slightly but I think all 5 stars units will be fine till maybe 1.6 or 1.7 my guess
Just pull who you enjoy even if it's aesthetic wise. If you always go for metas despite not enjoying a character then u will NOT enjoy the game. It doesn't matter if one character is stronger than another. Just relax and have fun. 💙
yeah if he is free that is good if not who cares. i think these two will be a pass for me nothing is showing me they are worth it but like i said if one is free iwill have it lol. since i complete all events.
just a reminder that if you are not a whale, you probably wont have the resources to level up all these characters. so consider that before pulling. pulling a character that will just slow down your investment and progression on your current characters. it wss the same when i pulled for jinshi i was just hitting UL50 and it got in the way a lot raising her as well as my other chsracters.
Keep in minnd that Kuro generally wants you to build up teams around elements. Aka: a wind team, lightning team, so on. So, Jangli Yao may work WITH Calcharo in certain events/content.
I've so far gone for every 5* Character and Weapon while being F2P and gotten all of them. I think with Kuro's generosity so far and the seemingly easier pulls it's possible to just go for both.
I don't have enough pulls in 1.2 so I'm not that stressed about it but just pull who you want really, just pull whoever interest you, at the end of the day its a game to entertain you
zhezhi is by far the highest value of the 4 characters if the translation were correct shes essentially just yinlin basically takes no field time and does a lot of off field dps and has a broken outro glacio and skill damage changli is in a weird spot you would think she would be good with encore but thats not really true since she does no off field dps so if shes not on your screen shes not doing anything and the buff she gives doesnt even compare to sanhuas simply because it has a lower duration and value and the liberation is completely useless shes a lot more nitpicky about the characters she want to have as a teammate in the future she either wants to be main dps so have a sub dps buff her skill basically just zhezhi or if shes going to be sub dps she needs a main dps that has a short rotation and big burst that takes no field time because she wants the field time herself jinhsi might be hard to powercreep because she has a massive numbers atm but the moment someone gets more numbers than her she might start falling off because she provides just one utility that free intro i guess you can relegate her to being a sub dps thats a damage bot while she provides no buffs she does guanratee your dps an intro cant really say much about xiangli yao bro was made to spite sephiroth players
For those who managed to not skip Jinhsi for jiggle physics ZhiZhe will give a major buff to her forte meter building it twice as faster then yinlin and will buff her damage and ultimate even higher
I'm gonna be skipping Xiangli Yao only because I want Zhezhi more rn and im also pulling Changli, but he's definitely a unit I'd like to choose in the future.
To expand to Xiangli Yao rumor, I've seen gacha games with events like this that still make it paid. For example if you need a certain item or energy type to max out the event but you only get the first few of these items or energies for free and have to pay for the rest, then it's not free it just takes away the rng but you still have to pay for it

PGR does indeed give free 5* chars (S ranks in PGR case) but that only started happening after 2 years of it being out. On first 2 anniversaries, they gave S rank selectors each time and after that we started getting free S rank chars like every 5 patches or so and you could get them just from doing events and getting the currency with which you could buy the characters or from other sources. Right now, global version is having a 3 year anniversary and we can get the new S rank character for free with the dorm currency which you get daily from doing tasks. Every new 4* (A rank) character is also completely free and you can get them from events every time.
@@turnipxd Nah, it's mostly standard S ranks but probs in the future the past limited ones will be added to the pool as well since you always have new chars coming out. Besides that, you get anniversary banners where you get 100% guaranteed rate to pull the selected S rank of your choice in 60 pulls and it has pretty much all of the limited S rank chars up until the current newest one.

Brush lady seems cooler now. Especially when her buffs are kinda generic. Unlike Changli buffs which is focus only on Fusion. Also her BA1 is a faster hit than Jinshi. Easier to parry
The only thing I'm afraid of using Changli is the fact that her animations r quite long, like Charlaco. Still not sure for Zezhi because some leaks say she buff Basic Atk DMG, not Skill DMG.
from what I have that's currently updated but if something changes I will keep you posted and just go for who you like the game is meant to be fun plus if you break a boss is bar then you can see all those cool animations while beating him in style ultimately up to you at the end of the day :)
Depending on the kit itself and other additional effects, even if the outro skill does not buff particular effects, it usually not that much of a problem. Sanhua is a fine example to this where her fast kit rotations makes up for the fact she buffs basic attack damage and she also has the waveband effect to grant 2 stacks of +10% attack just from `detonating glaciers` for an easy +20% attack boon to provide. This is also why units with coordinated attacks are highly preferred and some other units become rather bad, especially when you factor in `damage buff saturation`, which is probably another reason why Aalto`s aero damage buff is less useful unless the amount of aero damage bonus for say, jiyan is non-existent or so. Plus doesnt help a lack of other wind main dps units do not exist outside of turning YangYang or even Jianxin into a main DPS for those who have hopes and dreams to pull that off. Never the less, my focus is still on jinshi and i rather just have Changli as a pick up when they start doing re-runs since lacking Encore kills off a LARGE part of the reason to get Changli since getting her own to be a main dps, when the game already allows FANTASTIC FLEXIBILITY of using any element you want, because its just damage resistance that forces you to use different elements gives you 5 other options to use out of the 6 if an enemy resists a particular element.

PULL JINHSI IF YOU CAN! - She is the TOP mDPS who can't be powercrept for the next three mDPS and she's spectro so if like 3 fusion mDPS comes out you're still golden BiS! The top three diverse mDPS are BiS as you need 3 teams. Big reason for Jinhsi *Inhale through nose deeply and lock fingers* SHE IS A ONE GIRL TEAM! Yuanwu and Taoqi are easy to get hold of, they do not require any investment at all, you can keep them on read at level 1, with level 1 weapons and +0 echoes... and the team is TOP TIER! You want to be niche and UnIqUe? *akhem* you're mid af *akhem* - sure, they make fantastic sustainers (if you need that...). This is huge because for one very meta and highly busted team that is also fun to play... it frees up Verina for Jiyan and Yinlin for the new Dr Rati-.. *akhem* Xiangli Yao. She's also like the BEST character in the Elusive Domain, because why not. At lvl 80 she killed Scar V2 before he could swing his weapon once, using her ult SIX F****** TIMES amidst strangling Jue and using it as a machine gun to satiate her fetish for sticking her fingers together like they have velcro on them. She is glorious. Don't skip her if you can afford her. If you failed the 50/50... F my friend... Guys I saved up to 80 pulls total for Jinshi as a full f2p player but Instead I got Jinshi at 20 pulls so I'm aiming gor her weapon now I'm into 60 pulls already.....and I have a 90 pulls left for changli.....Btw you might think I'm lying but I have a lot of spare time to grind this game so that's why I have many pull.....Hood luck on your pulls too guys❤❤.....
I like Jinhsi's playstyle but I have a guaranteed pity after trying to get another copy of Yinlin so I'll have to skip Jinhsi for now. I really like Changli so I want to use my guarantee on her. I intend to run her with Yinlin for a waifu team. :) Totally agree with tempering expectations on Xiangli Yao. Don't expect a free 5 star unless devs officially announce it. I think his animations are really cool, but I don't pull for guys so he's a skip. As for Zhezhi, I don't know which team I'm gonna put her in but I surprisingly like her design and animations even though she's not usually my type. If I get Changli with lots of Astrites to spare, I'm getting her as well. Praying that I get all the characters I like. I wish us all the best with our pulls!
Fairly likely (thought not 100%) that camellya is 1.3 as well so keep that in mind too. (Ive also seen rumors of a character called cost guard or something for 1.3)

Imo, Changli is like Danjin, DPS that can outro buff the next resonator. And Yinlin is the real Sub Dps because she have a kit like follow-up attack that support on-field resonator, and of course outro buff next resonator is plus point.

I don't think Xiangli will be free as his kit is a direct power creep on Calcharo, who is available on the standard banner. Also, a big winner from Zhezhi is HRover with his/her ResSkill reset from S2.
i got jiyan, calcharo, and havoc rover all built (3 teams). i pulled for jihnsi, lost 50/50 and now im at 71 pity with 1 pull left. should i save (if so for who) or do i get jihnsi?

Once I tried Changli during the story, I knew there’s no going back. I needed the phoenix lady together with the dragon girl. I know usually off field characters are more valuable and flexible but that also means I need to make sure the on field character is the one that I truly enjoy using.
The HSR selector was not even a rumor, it was just wishful thinking. A rumor has to come from a reliable source (or claim to be). There was never a source. There were no leaks about it. But in this case, no one even thought Kuro was going to give out a free 5 star until the actual leak came out. Then we got more evidence and no leakers denying the fact.

Just pull for the characters that are satisfying for you guys. If you're having trouble choosing then that means whichever you choose, you will enjoy it guranteed because why consider it to be begin with right?
Changli is a trap just like Calcharo was. She’s a lot smoother than Calcharo but her rotations are pretty hard to pull off. So unless WuWa is the only game you play meaning you can dump hours and hours learning her rotations then you’re good. I can’t be bothered to do that when characters like Jiyan can do free parries and Jinhsi just destroys everything with her nuke giving her i-frames. Changli’s weapon is great though 👍
I think Kuro wants to mix things up which is good cause they do not want all the characters to feel the same which is a great feeling that being said yes ChangLi is for a higher skill celling and you will have to put time into mastering the combos but that is also the beauty in the diversity of gameplay
I highly doubt they will give a free Xiangli Yao since they already gave us 2 free 5 stars at the start of the game but who knows, maybe the rumors are actually true

Jiyan is the highest DPS in the game. Best possible builds in the live test had him slotted for 4.9 million damage and jinhsi at 2.1 million. It's not even close dude My poor calcharo did horribly though at only 480k

Never the less, my focus is still on jinshi and i rather just have Changli as a pick up when they start doing re-runs since lacking Encore kills off a LARGE part of the reason to get Changli since getting her own to be a main dps, when the game already allows FANTASTIC FLEXIBILITY of using any element you want, because its just damage resistance that forces you to use different elements gives you 5 other options to use out of the 6 if an enemy resists a particular element.

PULL JINHSI IF YOU CAN! - She is the TOP mDPS who can't be powercrept for the next three mDPS and she's spectro so if like 3 fusion mDPS comes out you're still golden BiS! The top three diverse mDPS are BiS as you need 3 teams.
Big reason for Jinhsi *Inhale through nose deeply and lock fingers* SHE IS A ONE GIRL TEAM! Yuanwu and Taoqi are easy to get hold of, they do not require any investment at all, you can keep them on read at level 1, with level 1 weapons and +0 echoes... and the team is TOP TIER! You want to be niche and UnIqUe? *akhem* you're mid af *akhem* - sure, they make fantastic sustainers (if you need that...).
This is huge because for one very meta and highly busted team that is also fun to play... it frees up Verina for Jiyan and Yinlin for the new Dr Rati-.. *akhem* Xiangli Yao.
She's also like the BEST character in the Elusive Domain, because why not. At lvl 80 she killed Scar V2 before he could swing his weapon once, using her ult SIX F****** TIMES amidst strangling Jue and using it as a machine gun to satiate her fetish for sticking her fingers together like they have velcro on them.
She is glorious. Don't skip her if you can afford her. If you failed the 50/50... F my friend...

Guys I saved up to 80 pulls total for Jinshi as a full f2p player but Instead I got Jinshi at 20 pulls so I'm aiming gor her weapon now I'm into 60 pulls already.....and I have a 90 pulls left for changli.....Btw you might think I'm lying but I have a lot of spare time to grind this game so that's why I have many pull.....Hood luck on your pulls too guys❤❤.....

I like Jinhsi's playstyle but I have a guaranteed pity after trying to get another copy of Yinlin so I'll have to skip Jinhsi for now. I really like Changli so I want to use my guarantee on her. I intend to run her with Yinlin for a waifu team. :)
Totally agree with tempering expectations on Xiangli Yao. Don't expect a free 5 star unless devs officially announce it. I think his animations are really cool, but I don't pull for guys so he's a skip.
As for Zhezhi, I don't know which team I'm gonna put her in but I surprisingly like her design and animations even though she's not usually my type. If I get Changli with lots of Astrites to spare, I'm getting her as well.

Fairly likely (thought not 100%) that camellya is 1.3 as well so keep that in mind too. (Ive also seen rumors of a character called cost guard or something for 1.3)

Imo, Changli is like Danjin, DPS that can outro buff the next resonator. And Yinlin is the real Sub Dps because she have a kit like follow-up attack that support on-field resonator, and of course outro buff next resonator is plus point.
Yeah it is very good for a character like her and her longevity to have a buff like that

I don't think Xiangli will be free as his kit is a direct power creep on Calcharo, who is available on the standard banner. Also, a big winner from Zhezhi is HRover with his/her ResSkill reset from S2.

I know usually off field characters are more valuable and flexible but that also means I need to make sure the on field character is the one that I truly enjoy using.

The HSR selector was not even a rumor, it was just wishful thinking. A rumor has to come from a reliable source (or claim to be). There was never a source. There were no leaks about it.
But in this case, no one even thought Kuro was going to give out a free 5 star until the actual leak came out. Then we got more evidence and no leakers denying the fact.

Changli is a trap just like Calcharo was. She’s a lot smoother than Calcharo but her rotations are pretty hard to pull off. So unless WuWa is the only game you play meaning you can dump hours and hours learning her rotations then you’re good. I can’t be bothered to do that when characters like Jiyan can do free parries and Jinhsi just destroys everything with her nuke giving her i-frames. Changli’s weapon is great though 👍
I think Kuro wants to mix things up which is good cause they do not want all the characters to feel the same which is a great feeling that being said yes ChangLi is for a higher skill celling and you will have to put time into mastering the combos but that is also the beauty in the diversity of gameplay

Jiyan is the highest DPS in the game. Best possible builds in the live test had him slotted for 4.9 million damage and jinhsi at 2.1 million. It's not even close dude

ppl overhype supports but in reality there is only 1 support slot so Changli will be powercreept in the same way as dps would.
also I am pretty sure you will be able to clear with Jinshi or Jyuan till the end of the game so again it doesnt matter.
