- Due to the success of the iconic 1990s/2000s Nick Jr. show Blue's Clues, it's no wonder that some dubs of the show for international audiences would be produced...
However, some international versions of the show would be produced that of which were completely made from the ground up, referred to as "adaptations". These adaptations are interesting in their own right, and the most interesting part about them is that they all have lost media attached to their name...
Today, we'll be covering the fascinating history and nostalgic search effort behind these lost adaptations of Blue's Clues.

Update: So remember how I said that those episodes of the Korean version that we're on the Google Photos album were actually taken down, possibly affecting actual episode availability?
Well, it turns out that all three episodes were archived on Archive.org, with the description reading:
"On July 3, 2020, 3 episodes of the Korean adaptation of Blue's Clues were finally found and uploaded to Google Drive. These episodes were found on an old VHS tape, that was divided onto 2 separate actual tapes. The episodes that is. It is currently unknown if anymore episodes of the Korean version out there , but if there are I hope they get found soon!"
You can find the episodes here:
archive.org/details/korean-blues-clues-episode-1
I actually downloaded all 4 while they were on Google Photos please don't ask me to upload them they're for my own personal viewing thx
@@sophiehanssel2017umm ok??? Good for you I guess????????
The British episodes of Blue's Clues are found this year, not only the lost episodes of BC of UK, but there's more episodes but in HQ and in the Nick Jr 1998 - 2004 logo.
I KNEW I didn't imagine this. I got confused because this Steve fellow went viral recently - I kept thinking "What? No. I ALWAYS watched Blue's Clues in the 90s, but I do NOT remember Steve. The man I watched looked and sounded nothing like him!" now that I know Americans had a different version - it makes more sense. I remember being taken on holiday to Flordia - and they even had the UK Blues Clues on the tv there (the hotel) for the tourists. So I spent my life just assuming Americans had the exact same show lmao
You might have watched his little brother Joe, who was on the show in the 2000s
DUDE WTF YOUR SO UNDERRATED, YOUR EDITINGS AMAZING YOUR NARRATION IS AMAZING HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE 10k OR HIGHER
Thanks for the kind words!
Seriously though!!!
Here's a fun fact: Kevin changed into Joe's green squared shirt during the last 8 episodes that he hosted in the UK version. I even subscribed to MrWimpyKid27's channel and found a link to all 75 episodes of the UK version that you can watch for free.
And 3 Of Joe's Episodes are Missing from Kevin's version.
Good to see this! 25 years in the making!
Yeah i know that i was mostly the one that had all of those Dailymotion Accounts,
but since i lost all the passwords to all of those Dailymotion Accounts
i do not hardly ever use them anymore. Nice Narration By the way.
Thank you! Glad to hear that you're the one who archived all those episodes!
I like how at the beginning its the steve intro but at the end it switches to joe
Very Nice Video!
You Just Earned A New Subscriber :) Also Your Next Video Should Be About The Backyardigans Lost Pilot From 1998 Call “Me And My Friends”
Bro your channel is underrated AF. Can't wait to see more videos from you
Thanks!
Amazing! Bruh ur so underrated!
Every blue’s clues is personalized

Blues Clues: Into the Blueverse
01:23 - I immediately screamed "Duarte!". Kinda surreal seeing a show I watched and loved as a child is partially lost. And with so little info!
I may have some episodes on my old tapes, but there's a chance they have been archived already. Plus, at the moment, I don't have the necessary equipment to digitize tapes. When I do have the equipment (gonna take a while), I will upload it to the Internet Archive and leave a followup comment :D
I can tell you that Duarte Gomes was hosting the children's block Zig Zag at around the same time (also from RTP 2, so As Pistas da Blue aired on that block). He then left and was substituted by Pedro Leitão in, I think, 2005/05. I don't remember As Pistas da Blue airing at that point in time.
Sadly, the LMW only seems to care for stuff from major English-speaking countries D:<
I'm so sorry for the rambling, I tend to be passionate aboit these types of things.
Any success yet?
I wish people would help find lost 4kids dubs of ultraman tiga, F-Zero GP Legend, Tama and friends, gogoriki, funky cops etc
Actually there are vhs tapes of the uk version
Has anyone ever checked with a Nicklelodean "official" as to the whereabouts of episodes? Certainly, if the network spawned the series, there would've been documentation of it somewhere.
Apparently there's two other international adaptations. A Latin American Spanish one which sadly was a cancelled adaptation. A clip of the pilot is in the Best of NSF video. And then there's a Malaysian adaptation which is existence unconfirmed with a female host.
There was also an Italian adaptation that was set to air in 1999 on one of the Rai channels (most likely Rai 2, since that channel airs children's programs), but it was scrapped.
@@DoraemonFan-ww3jm an Italian adaptation? I haven't heard of that!
That's why I just said
Why was it Scrapped ?,@@DoraemonFan-ww3jm
@@DoraemonFan-ww3jm, maybe you should contact the show's creators themselves about the Italian adaptation version in 1999.
Hi there! May you please help me? I've been trying to find this show in Spanish, and I saw there "Nick on demand en español. Do you know where can I find the whole show in Spanish?
Sorry your so underrated :(
I grew up with Kevin
Knowing That There were different hosts in different countries for Blue's Clues, I Think My Favorite Foreign host is Kevin.
Also do you ever wish that there would be a Canadian version of blues clues with a guy named Alex that played the role of Steve in the episodes that the other international hosts did when they aired
That would be a great idea. Basically, Since Kevin is in the UK, It would be a good idea if another host was in Canada, even if it's in the same continent.
With the blue’s Clues pilot lost there’s 2 more blue’s Clues pilot being lost with the only footage is 4secs

I remember Kevin as a kid.
I really wanna see more episodes of the Portuguese adaptation.
If there was a Korean version of environments, the mail time footage would be the same as what does blue want to make out of recycled things. I also hope we get a full version of the Korean version of blue’s news because I saw they used the blue’s news footage and picture during what’s so funny, which means we could have that episode later. If someone finds it, let me know.
The Episodes that Duarte may have acted in the Portuguese adaption but is still lost for almost 20 years.

TheToonsOfJosh61708 found the final 5 episodes
@@comedyfan74 I saw them on his channel, so I guess I got confused...Oops
Nickelodeon too create Latin American adaptation of the blues clues, the pilot is called “pistas de azul” but the adaptation is canceled
I also mentioned that.
*Hot Take:* Joe is a BETTER Host than Steve.
We've most recently also officially found earlier this year the missing 5 UK Episodes of Blue's Clues.
Except it's under a private link though, and only a certain amount people can view them.
And if you want the private link, you'll need to ask gamerguy624/ThatGuyWalkingBy
Or Drew wells for there permission too.
11:42 u say that and a week later there’s more clips posted by the official people of blues clues.
Bad news, BrayBray: MrWimpyKid27's channel has been terminated due to persistent copyright strikes.
Did they upload their videos to other sites?
You used Mario Kart Wii Music Which is called select screen which I like, Thank you.
It kinda slaps tho.
How
Wasn't there a Canadian English adaptation?
Canadian English? Interesting.
I’m a big brain boy 🧠
no
Why there's no latin adaption of Blue's clues?????
There was but it was cancelled 💔
There is but not added because we don’t know who the actor is.
3:48 何?
