Hoping these pieces of lost media get the attention they deserve one day. My personal lost media grails are the 1970s animated Jack In The Box restaurant ads [only three are on YT], and the 1979 animated Chuck E Cheese "Great All-American Pizza Show" commercial.

#BrayBray do you plan to do a video on Spawn the animation? A sequel to the HBO SPAWN animated show, but since its announcement back in the 2000's it has never cme out but only concept arts and one short San Diego trailer revealed by the creator himself Todd McFarlane. If you will make it, could you mention?

I posted this comment on an LSSQ video, but I'll post it here as well. I have some information regarding Nickkit UberHotmix. I actually watched it while it was public. For context, I used to make (now deleted) lost media videos, with one of them being about the Bubble Guppies pilot. Someone commented a while later letting me know that a clip from the pilot had been found, and led me to the video, which was still public at the time. Obviously, there was a clip from the Bubble Guppies pilot, but aside from that, from what I can remember, nothing from the Umizumiz pilot was present. It began with a CG rendered woman (most likely a cartoon version of a Nickelodeon employee) standing in an orange background. She was thanking people for support over the past twenty-seven years, though whether or not this was directed towards just Nickelodeon employees or the general Nickelodeon fanbase is something I don't remember (definitely the former if it truly was intended for internal use only, but whether or not it was is also something I'm unsure of). The compilation itself is comprised of short clips of many shows playing in succession of each other accompanied by music. The clips were only a few seconds long. The compilation was similar to the Nick Studios Florida compilation from 2000 where the clip from Me and my Friends was discovered. Some of the clips had audio, and some didn't. If I remember correctly, there actually weren't many clips from obscure pilot episodes (aside from the Bubble Guppies pilot, obviously). Most of the clips themselves were actually from standard episodes of readily available Nickelodeon shows. Obviously, it'd be weird to only include a clip from the Bubble Guppies pilot, so I don't doubt there were possibly more obscure clips, but I don't believe there were any clips from the Umizumiz pilot present. At the time, I had also made a video about the Umizumiz pilot, so the initial commenter likely would've pointed it out to me as well if it was, and I probably would've remembered seeing it. Even if it is, I'm almost positive the audio from YailiTheAMRTRCAndHopFan2007's clip wasn't sourced from Nickkit UberHotmix, simply due to the short nature of the clips in the compilation. That being said, I'm unsure where the clip with audio would've originated from if that's the case. Regarding the clips originally posted by The Official CompleteGamer!, I remember them being sourced from an animator's demo reel. Last I checked, the reel is still up, but the clips from the pilot have since been removed. I don't remember who the animator was, but the clips were archived in high quality in this video (czcams.com/video/dZSUaza7rbU/video.html), which to my knowledge, has all of the available footage from the pilot. As for Nickkit UberHotmix, the only clips I can remember specifically (aside from the clip from the Bubble Guppies pilot) are some clips from SpongeBob, a short clip from the Making Fiends episode, "Mama Vendetta," and possibly a clip from Wow! Wow! Wubbzy (though, I may be misremembering that detail). This is all I know. I unfortunately didn't archive it, as I didn't anticipate it becoming lost. Sorry I couldn't be more help. I don't have any proof for these claims, so I understand any skepticism that may come from this comment. This is all from personal recollection anyway, so I'd recommend taking this with a grain of salt either way. In any case, I wouldn't hold my breath for much to be uncovered if Nickkit UberHotmix gets found.

Oh also! I find it incredibly interesting that the first attempt to make the cgi characters dance was with motion capture! Especially since that didn't stick and they instead went with references to make it more precise! Which worked really well!

you got the dates mixed up for the dora pilots. the clip of dora and boots walking was produced in 1999 after the 1998 beaches pilot. the walking cyles was made closer to the release of the actual show

You should’ve bought up Pink Morning Cartoon. The search obviously died because all the leads were dead ends. I was lurking in the discord server and I watched it completely fall apart in real time a few months ago. They announced “death threats ARE allowed”, randomly turned it into an Aqua Teen Hunger Force server for like 15 minutes, and a bunch of other chaos from the mods presumably out of boredom. On April 11th, this was announced by kp (I’m guessing a mod), this is a direct quote: “@everyone "oH wHaT hApPeNeD tO tHe SeArCh tHiS iS sO sAd" bitch I am the fucking search I looked for this shit for years and no one gave a fuck you never did shit you want to see pink normie cartoon you fuckin look for it idc” So yeah it’s dead, nothing is gonna get found, but at least it went out with a bang.

I find it honestly really interesting how different Uniqua looked in both Me and My Friends along, Me and My Friends Revisited, and in the final show. Like the difference between all of them is so interesting to me. And honestly, I'm so glad they went with the final change because it's absolutely adorable! Also, slightly unrelated, but as interesting as Me and My Friends is and as interested i am to see it, I'm so glad it wasn't picked up and that Janice and the team behind it were able to make a 2nd pilot. Because if it was, not only would we not have gotten the show it is today, but we also wouldn't have gotten Dora! Not only that, but if it did get greenlit, I think people would be a bit weirded out or even scared of the costumes to know how great of a show it would've been!

Has anyone ever checked with a Nicklelodean "official" as to the whereabouts of episodes? Certainly, if the network spawned the series, there would've been documentation of it somewhere.

Honestly, for the longest time, I thought the dora pilot was already found. Maybe because when the 1 minute clip was released, we all kinda treated like the entire pilot was found rather than just a 1 minute segment of it. Over the years, the artstyle of the pilot has grown on me so I hope this does get found in the future. As for Hitogata, I think the idea of language barriers when it comes to searching for lost media of a certain language is gonna be hassle for many future searches. Unless you are some what fluent in the language, then it would be hard time for finding it if you are restricting yourself with english sources. Either way, great video and the unhinge jokes were pretty funny

Another topic you could maybe talk about right next to this is "found media that was forgotten". As in, lost media topics that nobody really talks about anymore, but were highly sought after.

Here’s a piece of lost media that time forgot: So there was this flash animated webtoon with its own website back in the earliest of 2000’s, and I discovered it on a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles website called the Technodrome, which included downloadable media as well as a forum. I loved the TMNT, so any new links from a website about them was okay by me. It was a webtoon by one of the forum members, and it was called the Adventures of Jonas and Mortimer. It revolved around a dynamic duo of Jonas Tugboat (a viking) and Mortimer (a mutant mango), as they save the world from evil. Their main enemy was a tiny little stick figure named Lord Poochie, who was a lot like Sheldon J. Plankton in that he was a teeny little creature with big dreams of one day taking over the world. There was also a flash animated of the German theme song for the 80’s TMNT cartoon on the website, amongst other things. I tried finding the show again a few years back, but only a couple images remain. And when you take the website from the Technodrome forum, and apply it to the Internet Wayback Machine, the website’s intro (featuring part of Black Sabbath’s Iron Man playing in the background) was saved, and nothing else.

People who don't think twice are going to automatically take it as you not caring about or taking a huge crap on something people are desperately trying to find. Some people don't care about the second pilot because it's very identical to the final version that they don't really care as much as to something like the Me and My Friends tape finally being discovered. They want to know more about the live action counterpart due to how completely different it looks.

My family got cable in the late summer of 1979. I was about 12. I remember most of the shows you talked about. I watched a good bit of them. I really liked America Goes Bananaz... I was the perfect age for it. I remember when the channel shut down for the night, it had a series of title cards promoting the other shows. As I look back now, it was really cheap looking, late 70s computer generated stuff.

I'm so glad this has been found, I love showing this to my students

I was such a big fan of The Upside Down show as a kid. It's one of those obscure shows that probably only has like 3 fans on earth, but it was so fun and creative. Really hope the pilot gets found.
