    A gunky gas stove top saturated with spills, splatters and splotches... sucks! Cleaning a gas stove top may not be as fun or tasty as cooking, but it has to get done! If neglected it just looks like a big grease pad in the middle of your kitchen.

    5:06 You did a great job detoxing your stovetop oven, but your gas burners can use some work to remove those stubborn baked-on stains, especially inside the crevises. You can thoroughly exfoliate each burner with a toothbrush and scrubbing paste to remove trapped food debris and later soak them overnight with bleach for a cleaner and newer look.

    The easiest way to clean your stove top is to NEVER use it while dirty....it only makes cleaning it so much harder. Get yourself some Bon Ami too. It's gentle but effective along with a razor to scrape off thick burned on grease. I never have to use expensive cleaners!

    *I have the same exact stove! I use hot water, dawn fish liquid, and a mr. Clean eraser! If you have grease, either use dish cloths or paper towels, dip them in your hot water/ dish liquid mix and lay the towels over the grease spots to soak then wipe. The eraser will take away the extra grease spots so easy!! I don't like using harsh chemicals bc it can remove the protective coating and a razor... I'd be to afraid to scratch it up!! The razor blade...that was the missing piece for me. I tried everything to get that baked on crud. We try to keep up with keeping it clean, but over the last few years, too many boil-overs by idiot teenagers (or the distracted adult) and it was pretty noticeable. It was a brand new and expensive stove and I wanted to keep it that way. Stove covers pretty much sucked (or at least I have yet to find a good one) so we just had to be careful. The razor blade just made it so easy, I can't believe I never thought of it. I once took a buffer and a mild car abrasive to it and all it managed to do is give the baked on crud a nice shine. LOL.

    Please try a cup of ammonia on the stove top and cover with plastic wrap. I usually leave it set overnight. I was very impressed with the Krud Kutter until you got to the part with the razor blade. If you use the ammonia treatment you will not need the razor at all. Most everything will just wipe away.

    Do you have a video about how to pull a stove away that has been bracketed? I really want to get behind my stove but I’m terrified.

    I thought Krud Kutter had to be diluted with water? Is it safe to use without diluting?

    • @CleanWithConfidence
      @CleanWithConfidence  Před 4 lety

      Absolutely! I use it undiluted most of the time. I buy the concentrate, pour it into a bottle and go to work!!

    OK Buddy!!! Going to try your method. I'll swing back and let you know how it worked for me! I'll make the trip to the home center and get fresh blades rather than using my trusty belt sander I bought for my ex wife, LOL.

    This looks like the same brand and type of stove I have. Fortunately, mine is nowhere near that dirty! I do have some stubborn baked on grease around my favorite burner though. ( Come on, you know we all have a favorite burner!) It isn’t bad enough for the razor blade trick, (which is terrific, btw,) but I’m going to look for some Krud Kutter and give that a try! Thanks for your very helpful and highly entertaining videos!

    I have a question dealing with toilet seats in an office building that are STAINED.... The owner won't replace them; so how do I get them snow white instead of sunrise yellow :-/ yikes.

      That's a tough one. Alot of the times it's hard to do without removing the finish, however in the past if have sprayed them with straight bleach a few times and scrubbed them with a sponge.

      Use a pumis stick!! Like what you use on your feet but they sell them for cleaning too, literally same thing though. In the cleaning section at say walmart but pretty much anywhere theyre called Scouring Stick. Clean toilet 1st! Put on some gloves and scrub stains with the pumis stick. MAGIC!! (I own a cleaning company) 😁👍

    You should have lined it with foil. Some stores sale precut liners but I go with heavy duty foil.
