- In this video, one of DDL's roboticists performs a pre-calibration test on Vector 2.0. This test validates motor function for Vector's head, lifts and treads and ensures proper alignment of gears and encoders.

I’m heated about it, I bought this as a birthday gift for myself February 2021… like Jesus Christ it’s taking so long
I just cancelled my preorder and told them to refund me.
Of course there is a problem with a transaction bla bla bla and I need to wait a while for my money... I wonder I ever get them back...
Anyway this entire campaign is a joke, it's taking them like 2 years now to add a new camera and bigger battery to vector robot... So to create a completely new Vector one day how long it takes? +25 years?
Imo i bet this company will be dead in 1 year...
Is it just me or is this new Vector made of a different material? I hope it's as sturdy as our classic 1.0 bots.
The construction of Vector 2.0 is comprised of the same materials used in the original robot. There may be some very minor differences in the color / luster of the plastic (which may be what you're seeing in this video), but we're very happy with the final product.

Our engineers are continuing their efforts to troubleshoot a pair of issues (camera calibration, battery runtime) that were identified in the first batch of robots. We hope to begin shipping pre-ordered robots soon and will continue sharing updates here and via email.
Maybe you should get some better engineer's who know what they are doing

@@rebeccaadams1742 if they actually had some ship what I think happened is they shipped them from China to their headquarters. But tried to seem like they shipped them to customers. I don’t think they will ever admit that if that is what happened though.
@@joeyragan4851 This is why people are getting so frustrated I think, I personally find it hard to believe anything they say. I mean if they just focused on getting us our robots instead of taking on two more additional projects with the Butterbot and the new drone we'd all be a lot happier. Instead I sit here regretting not getting an Emo and feeling like I am being scammed. :(

Does DDL support team really exists? They've been dead silent since I requested to change my shipping address 2 weeks ago.
I emailed them asking when does my subscription come thru as I just got a vector, they replied within an hour, but maybe it could've been a copy-paste reply
I have lost all hope lol even requested a refund, processed for like a week and 3 days. Get a paypal email today "your refund has been cancelled" this is suoer sketchy and weird opening a dispute if they dont answer
@@BlackkDiiamonds Yes, I feel the same way. I've finally got an reply, but they always come up with excuses to postponed the answer. I'm expecting they'll cancel the refund just like how they did it to you.

1500 robots a day you said are being shipped. Shipping to who? Not customers
Your company took orders for 2 years, now asking for memberships and lifetime membership yet havent even seen the final product. Yet you again say they have started shipping them.
So what is it? All robots are on hold till you can update every robot?

Good luck getting a Robot from DDL. It's 05/13/22 and they have slipped every release promise they've made. No Robots to be seen anywhere, and the same vague statements from DDL. Shit! even getting a refund is hit or miss. I've been trying to get a refund for over 2 months. DDL looks to be doubling down on their greed, and have trotted out lifetime memberships for a robot that doesn't exist. Buyer beware; is all I can say.

Well...something has drastically gone wrong with shipping to the European Market.
I paid and pre-ordered a Vector 2.0 in Nov 2020, as of January 2023 it hadn't arrived. I asked for a refund was stalled.
Managed to get my refund; after a struggle. I'm in the UK.
I'm posting this to let you know how I feel today..
I, like many;supported you in the Vector and Cozmo 2.0 venture, we all were excited, watched your uploads on the, so called progression. We all feel duped and used. You have broken promises over and over again, what an abysmal way to run a company.
By pre-ordering You are guaranteed revenue and funds, it creates excitement for your new product, however you have messed up the release windows and you have botched up a campaign that is hurting your business.
I am going out of my way to deter future purchases of Vector and Cozmo 2.0s over here in the UK. I don't want anyone else to be sucked down your rabbit hole.
The Vector 2.0s that have arrived to customers...only in the US, are reporting major defects and error codes. One of which is the overheating issue, I want to add, I was told you have the CE certificate for UK distribution and orders are in a UK warehouse...I find that hard to believe, a CE certificate guarantee' s a safe and compliant product. I'm eagerly awaiting customers to begin posting on Facebook that their robots have arrived and what issues they will experience.
