    aA little bit confusing… I always thought that jml was part of the lifecycle and the lifecycle was part of IDM…

      JML (Joiner, Mover, and Leaver) are the fundamental procedures or rules of IDM, which some vendors refer to as ILM (Identity Lifecycle Management). There is a connection here between the concept of Provisioning, which is the simple step of granting access, and the user life cycle events, which are of more complexity. RBAC validations and access groups are involved.
