It Was a Really Fun Day! | EVO Japan 2024 - Day 1

When I heard about EVO Japan 2024, I didn't think twice about getting my ticket to this year's tournament. I was already planning to visit Japan around this time, after all. The event was held at the end of April 2024 -- at Ariake GYM-EX. It went for 3 days.
There's a train station nearby. I got my ticket online and collected it later from a 7-Eleven in Tokyo. There were so many people at the event. It was a shame that I could only attend on the first day. On the bright side, I had the chance to meet some of my favourite players there. Many Street Fighter pro players were there, including MenaRD, Nemo, Daigo, Tokido, and Justin Wong. I even met pro player Mono on the hotel lift. He and MenaRD were very friendly.
While I was there mainly to watch the Street Fighter tournament, I spent more time watching a new video game called, 'UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys: Celes. View Rules'. Dope! There was also a cosplay show during the event. All the participants looked really cool. I managed to get some merchandise from the event, including tote bags, keychains, and t-shirts. Overall, it was a fun day! 😁
