Tràng An Boat Ride Route 3 [Kong: Skull Island] #trangan
Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex (Quần thể danh thắng Tràng An) is one of Vietnam's must-visit gems in Ninh Binh. It's listed as a UNESCO Heritage site. I had the opportunity to revisit it this year sometime in early March. Spring in Trang An this year was lovely.

This year, I took route 3. It's best known as the King Kong route. That's because the movie 'Kong: Skull Island' was filmed here. In all honestly, I like Route 3 more than Route 1. It's gorgeous. I can understand why it's a very popular route.
Route 3 in order:
- Trinh Temple
- Hang Dot (Dot Cave) - 1000m long
- Hang Van (Cloud Cave) - 360m long
- Suoi Tien Temple
- Dia Linh Mountain
- Dai Cave
- Hanh Cung Vu Lam Temple / Vu Lam Royal Steps
- Kong: Skull Island Film Set
The journey may take about 3 hours. However, mine took slightly under 3 hours.
Should you consider Trang An boat ride Route 3? Yes, if you like a nice balance of caves and temples -- and if you want to experience the longest cave in the area, the Dot Cave. You will miss Hang Dot if you don't take this route.

Hi, it didn't rain a lot in November. Yes, November is a good month as it's not too hot or not too cold. But due to the changing climate we're experiencing today, this might not always be the case. It gets cold usually at the end of November. Hope this helps.

You are right ! you should avoid coming to Vietnam or any other SEA countries in summertime . It's too hot and humid especially with the climate change and the El Nino

Hi. The best way to know the bus' schedule is to use the Kuching Metro app. Maybe you could try checking your phone's space? Anyhow, you can take the bus from DUN (across the Kuching waterfront) or from the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. You can also take it from the Kuching waterfront; there's a bus stop opposite the old courthouse.

Hi. Thank you for the comment. There can be many sunny days in Auckland, even in winter. Winter is cold, of course. But not too cold during the day. The temperature is usually between 13 and 18°C during the day. At night, it's colder; it can sometimes be 4°C. Not every day, though. Generally, you'll be fine with layers of clothes and a puffer jacket in the city. Bring enough warm stockings and a scarf. Enjoy your holidays! 😄

This video helps a lot. I'm coming to Auckland in July and I was concerned about what to pack for winter in NZ. It looks a lot warmer than I thought it might be.
Hi. It's not that cold during the day. Usually sunny. Some days can get quite rainy. Since July is usually the coldest month in Auckland, I recommend packing enough warm clothes. In winter, the temperature at night can get quite cold -- like about 4°C. One good winter jacket and layers of clothes are enough to stay warm during the day. Happy travels! :)
