What's your favourite moment between Ben and Callum?
I love them all but my favourites have to be when Ben said I love you for the first time. Their scenes with Lexi Jay and Lola. When Ben proposed and they got married any Ben Callum and Lexi. When Callum told him the truth about Fitzy getting stabbed and Ben helping him through it. When Attmore got released from prison when he shouldn't have been but Callum helping him through that. Just them being them scenes like the ones at Christmas before the attack. Hell even though what's going on now is heartbreaking and I'm hating it because I just want them to be happy together forever and always no matter what happens. Like they deserve. Although I'm loving it because it is highlighting an important topic.

I never saw this show (not British), and I learned it's the same age as I am, that's way too many seasons to watch.
Is there a more recent point in the series where I can start without being completely lost?
I reccomend just watching the most recent episode and then just trying to find your way from there as new episodes come out (everyday monday-thursday)
This is what we call a Soap in the UK, it is a never-ending drama without seasons. The longest its ever been off air for must have been during the pandemic simply due to filming restrictions at the time and the lockdowns.
Well that was hot! 😂 Ben and Callum will always have a great chemistry together. Sadly Ben is no more, I thin Max Bowden portrayed him really good.

THANK YOU!!! Syed and Christian were the first LGBTQIA+ couple I had ever seen on TV. Little closeted lesbian me resonated with Syed so much like I'm not Muslim but I knew how it would be. My nan was openly homophobic! My grandad would make sarcastic jokes about them like he was the person who would ask "so who's the man/woman in the relationship" and my mother (if we can even call her that) wasn't openly homophobic but it wasn't something that was brought up. When I first showed an interest in dating it was always about boys she never questioned if maybe I was into girls or even told me (when I was pre-dating age) that dating girls was an option! I had so much internalised homophobia that it took me 15 years to finally come out! That's including 8 years away from that lot! Even to this day if a girl hits on me my first instinct is to run the opposite way screaming that I'm straight when I'm far from it! Stratospheres away even! xxx
I loved Syed and Christian. I remember watching their storyline on TV when I was about 12 and I wasn't sure on my sexuality but I fancied Syed, I found a photo online and put it as my phone lockscreen and my sister saw and told my dad.. he questioned it lol.. then a few years later I realised I was Bisexual and never forgot that storyline. Ben and callum are good still 😊

Did you miss two weeks of storylines? His ex was murdered due to a homophobic hate crime, when he and his ex were holding hands, and he has always blamed himself. Callum was attacked specifically because they were holding hands in January 2022. Ben stood there and watched because he was so triggered by the memories of his ex. He has always liked to think he could save his ex from those men, but it happened to Callum and he didn't do anything and he blames himself. He reasons that it is safer to not be publicly gay, because he now associates being openly gay with his loved ones getting hurt.
I thinks it's a great storyline and highly relevant in today's age

Ballum is a toxic relationship with an even toxic fandom, even Ben here was harassing and bullying Callum into coming out. If someone did that to me I would want NOTHING to do with that person, let alone go out with them!

This is when it became unwatchable. Putting one of the more likeable characters with the least likeable was such a stupid decision.

They weren’t as bad back then but they are destroying the show now. Both actors are clearly straight as a board and there is zero chemistry left. Time for the axe. Max is burnt out and Tony is as wooden as ever.
Lol I do agree they need to change up some of their writing & let them be more normal/happy/let Ben progress past this need to be a great Mitchell. But? They’re both great. Also the show isn’t going to shoot itself in the foot and get rid of characters that have a huge fandom/audience. Unless the two actors want to leave. I don’t see them kicking them off the show or splitting them up.
