The way Ben literally LEANS IN to Callum when Callum begins to come out. It's one of the most subtle acting I've seen. It's what made me watch the series. So serious. So emotional. And the filming is exquisite. Ben looks like Martin Sheen in the backlighting, right out of "That Certain Summer." Beautiful.
I got goosebumps from Tony Clay’s acting here and Max Bowden does a great job too. So overcome with emotion

My heart... My heart has stopped. It has been overloaded by my love for these two. I can’t believe how far they have come, how far Ben and Callum have come to love each other and themselves. I’m just so happy they can be together, free of the people who hurt them. Tbh, I just hope they can continue to be happy. I hope Phil doesn’t hurt Callum or anything. Because he could. I don't know why gay relationships on screen are always portrayed as hyper-sexual. No doubt it does happen, just like with straight pairings, but I can assure everyone that two guys realizing they like each other, and even kissing, doesn't automatically lead to a frantic rush to tear each other's clothes off... ESPECIALLY in a public place. Yet every show and movie always shows this 🤦🏽♂️. I'm all for lgbtq+ visibility on screen, but this hyper-sexual portrayal needs to stop. This is why a lot of people view the community as depraved and unhinged

🙄 Callum met him in a public place because Callum does not feel comfortable enough with his own desires to officially “date” a man. I mean if they were obsessed w portraying gay men as sex obsessed… Callum could have had many one offs before eventually getting w Ben. He could broken off things w Whitney, had one night stands, & then got w Ben. But the entire point was… Callum felt such strong attraction to Ben but it was combined w shame from what he’s been taught by society regarding gay attraction. So? .. Hence Callum finally giving in and going a bit loco let me rip your clothes off cause he’s finally letting himself be truthful to his own sexual desires.

You evidently don't understand what a long time of pent-up emotions can make one do when they're being vented.
I’m a year late but this happens when you’re so deprived of something. Callum has been in the closet for god knows how long, he finally got the taste (pun intended) of what it’s like to be with the person he’s actually attracted to. He’s been holding back his feelings and lust for blokes and Ben finally made him able to let loose and be honest with his desires. Imagine all of that pent up energy being release all at once, so excuse him if he felt the need to tear off Ben’s clothes right there and then.
