I dont think its actually her fault for killing ryoma because apart of her last word "for my nation,for my people" and according to Google she did it cause she thought the whole of Japan might be in danger if she doesn't escape
They put too much expectation on a low confidence people pleaser. This is what happens when you force people to work on what you perceive as their best quality.
I don’t think it was the expectations that were too high. She just couldn’t connect with the other students on a personal level. If she had more emotional attachment then she definitely wouldn’t have killed
