Thank you for this Phil. I like this band and already have the two albums in my collection. Handy to know I'm not missing out on anything. However, this is a nice looking little set and will be a great purchase for anyone new to the band.
Hi Phil, just to add that these album's were first remastered and released by RPM in 1997. I have both copies and they had the titles of, The Warhorse Story Volume 1 and Volume 2, both had photos of the band on their covers accompanied with a small inset of the original album cover.
I GOT MY COPY FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO AND IT'S REALLY GREAT.
I DID NOT KNOW THEM AND IT'S A VERY GOOD SURPRISE.

I enjoyed listening to these albums a while back (streaming) but didn't know about the Deep Purple, which just goes to show how much information you miss streaming. By the way, Phil, I hope you don't mind me mentioning this, but I've noticed of late that you keep checking your monitor (top right, your side) possibly to make sure what you're showing is in shot. I find it distracting and it's probably not necessary.
Big DP MK Ii fan...I did get PURPLE PASSAGES on Xmas 1972 (along with Captain Beyond's debut). PASSAGES, I didn't really like...not like MACHINE HEAD, at all.
Got up to BURN & years later, went back to MK I. Kinda cool in a '60s psychedelic vibe. Pete & SOT hipped me to Warhorse about 3-4 years ago. Dig them.
