Godfather looks like he's not aged since 1998.
Black don't crack.
Yelt69 But Dey Be Wack
He also seems like the best guy to hang out with.
pimps don't crack
1988 not 98
What a guy the godfather seems to be
Yeah he seems like a cool dude
Charles Wright is an amazing performer. To be able to be The Godfather, Kama, and Papa Shango, 3 completely different personas and do them all incredibly well, that’s awesome.
True that, Mr. Costner👌
You leaving out the Goodfather when him and Val Venis were on that it was a very different character for both.
I would love to be able to hang out with Godfather. He always has a smile on his face.
JasonL77 true he's a great dude met him twice so far dude talked to me for 15 minutes each time such a great dude anyway check ur local independent shows he might be there
I'm a referee for some independents in Minnesota so if he were to be brought in, I would here about it. Hopefully, a promoter up here will bring him in, Even if I don't get booked on the same show, I'll probably go as a fan just so I can meat him.
Would love to cheef with him. Him in the smokebox with b real was great.
Papa Shango and the Undertaker would've made an incredible dark-themed tag team. The Papa Shango gimmick was great, I preferred it to the Godfather thing, and people don't give it the respect PS deserved, as a gimmick and as a worker.
Christopher Cleary For real man!! And he terrified the shit outta me as a kid Lbs
I disagree actually I think the PS character gets a lot of respect but I think it's very specific to the era. Where as your Hogans, takers and Austins were timeless. PS still gets a lot of recognition for what it was.
hell yes i always thought the same thing..
I think that would've been so sick if Papa Shango and Undertaker did form a tag team in the wwf. I would've used "Soul Takers" as their name since 1, PS/Godfather used that back in the day(Soul Taker) and 2, "Takers" aka UnderTAKER. Both really scared me as a kid and yes a fitting name for both. I guess the only way is to create Soul Takers on 2k19 haha.
Shango was a great gimmick that the WWF didn't do nearly enough with.
This guy is cool and doesn't spend 3 minutes trashing the shit out of others. I enjoyed the story of who was in it and how the name came up. I wonder if anyone has a more dominate tattoo as undertaker BSC, poor yuko, I wish someone could have helped him with his weight during the end
Undertaker The greatest of all time
Bone Street Krew would’ve been a good stable on Tv with the Undertaker’s American Bad Ass Gimmick
He seems like the most pleasant person to talk to. I'd love to buy this man a beer!
Love these interviews, please try to interview as many old school wrestlers as you can. It's amazing to hear what goes on behind the scenes and stories 👍
Rip YOKOZUNA.
This dude is awesome :)
Judas Goat and he’s a raider fan fuck ya
He's old enough to remember when the Raiders were really the Raiders and the 'badboys' of football
Johnny Vasquez you still gonna be a fan when they move to Vegas?
Charles Wright is a 6'7", 300+ pound Black man. I'm POSITIVE the Kliq didn't have any heat with him lol
I'm HIV positive because of a 6'7 black man
So was mark calaway
Yoko was more intimidating...
Not sure why being black makes you intimidating...
Christopher Oliver ask american police
Kliq dodnt have any heat with undertaker too
Crazy thing that fascinates me about the old days is how cool dudes can be across racial lines. When hear dudes like Bruiser Brody being best friends with Atlas, Dusty Rhodes and Freight Train Jones, Taker and godfather, just dudes going trough shit together.
3 white guys, 2 Samoans, 1 purto rican, and (I'm guessing) a black guy... The badest interracial crew you'll ever hear about in wrestling
You couldn't and dare wouldn't mess with them. Darn sure.
Most of those guys, unlike the Kliq, were legit tough guys behind the scenes. Even Taker was known to have some skills throwing hands back then and was of course very strong. Yeah, Kliq had the political muscle, but Bone Stree Krew had the stopping power.
Remember the story where Taker was taping his fists backstage at WM 14, in order for HBK to do the right thing?
You're guessing a Black guy? Really?
Maxxx Modelz Scott Hall and Kevin Nash could throw down. And regardless of what folks think so could Shawn and Hunter.
I love that the name comes from the hood name for dominoes. Rodney (aka Yokozuna) was raised in the Bay Area so I'm certain he hung out with brothas out there. What a cool ass crew. Hearing about how down Taker has always been makes me respect Mark Calaway 10x as much. Knowing Charles Wright is this laid back brotha that also loves the Raiders makes my respect for HIM go up 10x.
Awww godfather seems like such a happy guy in this interview!
As much of a “redneck biker” as Undertaker was perceived as, he was actually more street/thug than people would think. Played dominos, hanging with a huge mix of dudes, plus Henry Godwinn of The Godwinns (also in BSK) said Taker and Yokozuna would rap during car rides. Taker actually made a freestyle rap song about Godwinn called “Hillbilly Love.” It’s in a shoot interview with The Godwinns. If that’s not badass, I dunno what is.
J D Both him and Macho Man were good in the hood
There's an onslaught of rumors going around that Taker is racist due to his political views. I can only hope he isn't. He seemed one of the few top wrestlers that wasn't a POS backstage.
J D Takers a gangster man... been a fact
@@SilverWolf442 As a Black man, I've had to come to grips with the reality that the majority of white people are Republican/conservative. That doesn't automatically make them racist. Taker had a whole ass crew with Samoans and Blacks (Savio Vega and Charles Wright) prominently in it. I judge people by their actions as much as certain words. Taker ain't no damn racist.
Cool dude , Papa Shango was a great gimmick and the Godfather a fun one .
let's not stand on ceremony here Kama was a badass gimmick
Fuuuucking loved papa shango...!!!!
Pimp Fatha looking like the happiest person. Real happy to see a feel-good story.
Long live the Phenom. Been a fan of taker ever since his debut into the wwf and continue to be one of his fans. Hes truly one of a kind
he's SO happy all the time, love it
still my fav...Godfather was still the.best gimmick to come out of the attitude era imo and hes just a genuine straight up guy.
Awesome interview
Met this guy in New Orleans, great dood. Appreciates his fans, class act.
Godfather looks phenomenal and healthy. Very well spoken as well
Godfather is a cool dude
Godfather is still one of my favorite wrestlers and looks like he took care of himself unlike some
Seems like a really good guy, thanks for the vid.
The Godfather..One of the most underrated wrestler EVER!!
Wish they would have got behind him and push him to Statdom!!!!
this man is for real ! whether it was papa Shango , Kama , or Godfather, he was always legit and fully into it. a very cool dude !
I LOVE the story of when Taker drove through a snow storm and eventually God Father took over and not 10 feet after he put them in the ditch. He explained how he could have fought him right there but didn't say anything since it was God Father's car.
Met Charles three times and he’s always smiling and joking with everyone around him. Love him!
And was told Yokozuna came very close to kicking the shit out of Shawn Michaels back in the day.
I see Mark on this new wrestling Treasures show now and he is obviously the coolest guy ever. And he'll talk your ear off.
I assume wrestling fans from years ago aren't used to hearing the Undertaker talk.
But he'll talk your ear off. And he's the most respected wrestler of the last 30 years.
Stone Cold would be a close second I think.
the "Godfather" {charles wright} is a chill down to earth guy loved him as the infamous "Papa Shango-{1992-1993}
The BSK would crush the clique in a matter of seconds
Why should they? And why does it matter? They shared a working place lol. I dont get these kinds of comments.
Kama Mustafa, "Give some competition!"
Legend him n icp are favs of wwf 90s
guys playing the undertaker in my childhood I wouldnt believe it
As man I admire them more
AAAALLL ABOARD THE HHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO TRAIN!! Loved GodFather and Undertaker is my ALL time Fav Wrestler!! I don't think I've EVER heard someone say negative things about Mark!! You could tell he flat out LOVED the Business and made sure he promoted it AND gave back to it!!
RAIDERS!!! I always knew I liked The Godfather!
Whoever recorded this is a strong proponent of head-space in photography.
Interviewer. What is the undertaker like outside the bussiness
Godfather. He's mark lol
That is so cool
Seems a cool guy!
No one can ever describe the charicter or personality specifically of the deadman ...and if they do ....bong...lights go out
I will always call him the Soultaker from the Memphis days
Nell Bowie makes sense yea
Its crazy how they were both Takers
looks like his office inside of Cheetahs LV
What ever you doin Big Brother keep it up. Hell I hope I look this good when I'm his age. "Yo Dee that's me the King the MC" ☺
hes so cool
Godfather seems like he hasn't had a bad day in his life
Weed does that. Lol He said his wife & weed made him much nicer over the years.
1 Cool interview. 👍
oh man, I would love to see footage of godfather vs undertaker... DOMINO DEATH MATCH
Godfather is best l have seen
I fucking love this bloke ^_^
Taker the best of all the time
Could you imagine getting Domino on the team of Wendy and Shango... OMG
Of course he's cool with every one of them, he's the fucking Godfather.
Not an Undertaker fan like I used to be. Godfather is a righteous dude.
Traveling Man I think I look at him as more of a company man now which is still fine. I just bought the narrative wwe told about him.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off :P
He was definitley loyal to the "company", but that could also be looked at as a character asset. He's just a loyal guy. He would have probably been the same way with any organization, and we need more people who are loyal in this day and age. Some people see that as a character flaw, but some see it as an asset. It wasn't just the company he was loyal to. It was his friends and family too.
Royal Pain Verily!!!!=)
The SoulTaker vs. The Undertaker!
Taker must be a seriously good dude because I dont think I've ever seen anyone talk bad about him
That's because The Undertaker in and outside of the ring is highly regarded and respected!!
Godfather looks like Bad Luck Fale in that thumbnail.
One could only imagine, what the B.S.K would have been as an in ring faction
Imagine ministry Taker with The BsK crew
1997...instead of the eventual Ministry of Darkness Taker, instead we get an early version of American Badass with Savio, Godfather, Godwin, and Rikishi. That would've been freakin' dope. Could easily have them as faces or heels against D/X, the Nation of Domination, the Harts, even the McMahons. Would've been awesome.
Paul Bearer was in BSK too if I remember right
The hooooooooooeeeee! train!
why doesn't anybody ever talked about the fact that one of the godwins was a double agent and was clique
The Soul Taker and Mean Mark Calous
Good thing for the Kliq that they didn't have heat with BSK. BSK would have destroyed them.
PrimetimeD Easily
They did then trip knocked up steph
#mindblown
Awwww an adorable awkward and young taker pic. Before he knew what to do with his hair and beard 😂😂 Damn I miss Papa Shango he was an awesome gimmick.
Godfather looking like DMC
I kept thinking he reminds me of someone else...there it is! Good catch
Mark Calaway was the Undertaker's real name which he became one of the top wrestlers.
I would have given anything to see BSK VS The KLIQ.... That could have gone on for 6-12months of programming. Instead Vince McMahon decided to make The undertaker vs BSK & The KLIQ.. well he did beat them all..
Godfather looks like Bad Luck Fale in that picture
i miss the HOOOOE train
Taker likes to jokingly say sometimes it means Brothers Soul Keeper.(it's personal)
The "Soul Taker" Kama Mustafa
Dude bad ass raider nation!!!!!!
hey he didn't mention crush and mabel
Wow just got some underground knowledge..
Not only that but Godfather let Undertaker borrow his pants after Taker lost his luggage.
Wasn't Crush in BSK?
This guy seems cool as fuck! 👍
The Hoooooooooe Train!
You never hear anything bad about taker
He has a lot of power in the business so if you bash him it would not be a good career move to say the least.
The fact that Undertaker let Godfather beat him (when he returned as new Nation member Kama Mustafa) makes sense now why the WWE Champ would lose to him lol. No knock on Charles Wright or his characters but he wasn't the Godfather yet.
BSK= Bone Street Krew
Did anybody else think that The Godfather was dead?
PIMPIN' HOES, NATION WIDE!
I would love to see them in a bar fight
The BSK is like if the WolfPac and the Boo Yaa Tribe had a baby.
Godfather wearing two watches
days gone . (boozer)
Crews spelled with a C
Bone street crew ,,,, bsk
I have never heard one human being say anything bad about the undertaker! Not one.
ma dude look young asf while taker look 70 lmao
lmbo
@@niaedmonds3342 bich
@@lycan2494 😒. .......
BSK is founded by TNT Savio Vega Boricua
back street krew?
Bone Street Krew
Better than the kiq
The BSK was to combat the Kliq.
He literally just explained it was a domino playing group
