- With Mario Party Superstars being out for almost 3 years. It has been an amazing experience to play classic boards and mini-games from the entirety of the series. But with fans asking for DLC for Mario Party Superstars... we never received anything of the sort. But that could change with this game?! So, could we actually see DLC for Mario Party Jamboree this time around? Let's Discuss! :D

Me personally I'm glad they ditched Superstars and went for a new game, I don't really like Superstars. Roster is a massive downgrade from Super, few boards and only 2 that I like, the minigames just feel the same and are unbalanced as hell, and so many coin minigames.
Superstars was more for OG n64 players. I liked it tbh as you could turn off bonus stars and it’s simple and fair.
Same bruh and people randomly thought the game would have DLC and now they are disappointed that it didn’t happen (while Nintendo never confirmed it), they’re even using the latter as argument. Just be happy that there’s a new game with the most minigames and characters (sadly not the most boards, that award still goes to Mario Party (1), with like 10 boards (Jamboree has 7) ever. Also the best looking game ever
something i want to bring up with the intro that there's some pretty big empty spaces on the map with the boards, the beach area is really barren and there's a crack on the walls on the right side, there's an empty lot in the grassy area, shy guys are in what i can only assume a construction for western land and there's similar construction things on top of the mountain so maybe there's unlockable boards for the game like with the kamek one in super

4 gamecube boards I want in Mario party jamboree
1. Toads midway madness from Mario party 4
2. Castaway bay from Mario party 6
3. Pagoda peak from Mario party 7
4. Neon heights from Mario party 7
We need new characters like Pauline, Geno, Goombella and Vivian. They deserve a chance!
Doubt we’ll ever get dlc for a Mario party game if they continue producing a Mario party every 3 years
I agree BUT it its likely going to be hated with FALSE info when they promised to be the BIGGEST Mario Party game ever, and when they said BIGGEST that means they need to give us more than 8 boards, and more than the recent biggest amount of items and modes and minigames in Party Mode.
@@courage1363 yeah I agree like how many of those 110 minigames are actually going to be usable in party mode. i can live with the 7 boards. would love an 8th but i doubt we get it.
i feel like they screwed up their opportunity to make something really good and a real celebration of the series like the most recent smash and mario kart games.
if they had combined superstars and jamboree into 1 game. 5 new boards 3 retro boards with maybe 4 dlc packages. each with a new board maybe a new character or 2 and new minigames. largest character roster ever largest amount of minigames. remade modes from previous Mario parties.
That would be awesome.
As long as they dont get cursed with the Sims syndrome! Every new Sims gets blank slated with few to zero features and improvements from the giant line of DLC from the past game 😂
@@abacon2910you serious? We haven’t had a brand new Mario Kart in 10 years and you say that the “latest” Mario Kart is a celebration. Even Mario Party does better then Mario Kart
@@DoodleBobFG the most recent smash and Mario kart console games have been the biggest of their respective series and each had a large amount of dlc something none of their previous entrees had. Mario Party has never had anything like that: a game with constant updates and new content over a large period of time. That’s what I’m trying to say
We also need a single player story mode!
i'm glad we actually got western land and mario's rainbow castle, even if it isn't dlc for superstars, but i'm not getting my hopes up for dlc this time because NDCube really disappointed me by not adding more boards and minigames to superstars lol
In my opinion, THIS is the game in which we need DLC (or new things getting added later on), not Superstars. If we get DLC with new boards, we could eventually break the board record of Mario Party. Mario Party had 10 boards and they showcased all the boards of Super Mario Party Jamboree (although they didn’t do a in-depth description of Mega Wiggler’s Tree Party and King Bowser’s Keep), which is shown to be 7 (for now). So Jamboree has the 2nd most boards, but then you ask yourself: “They say it’s the biggest Mario Party ever. It has the most characters, minigames, most complex boards but not the most boards? How could the very first Mario Party even have more?” But all in all yeah. DLC for this game to bring the board count up to 11/12 (so this game breaks the record of most boards in a Mario Party game thus breaking the record of every important milestone) would be nice
I also want Hammer Bro, Blooper and Boom Boom (since Pom Pom was in Super) to come/return to this game with DLC
This game looks like it's gonna have the most content since the Gamecube era, so im not complaining

My guess is that SMPJ was originally going to be dlc for SMP but too many ideas came to mind that they decided to start from scratch and make a fresh new game that is a sequel just like Mario galaxy 2 and tears of the kingdom. However what they could do for the switch 2 is rerelease jamboree as a DX version (unlikely), release a super Mario party 3, release a superstars 2, or make a Mario party ultimate

Why would you make 2 sequels of 2 games? And in case of Superstars 2, I still think you guys understand that the sole purpose of Mario Party Superstars was to be a better sequel/remake of Mario Party The Top 100 and seeing how Superstars rolled out, I don’t think we need yet ANOTHER Mario Parry with 100 OLD minigames (just for nostalgia)

3:20 another thought does was map that was plan for main game or dlc to superstar. Sorry but didn’t see much for superstar.
Hopefully a MP3 board would show up in the next trailer or as an unlockable board.

Waluigis Island ? 😁 Well now. Brace for wall of text!❗️ If I ever had a chance to sit down and humbly talk with Miyamoto, my wishlist would be down below: Two major important things to get outta the way first
1: Develop a decent background for Waluigi and finally let this scheming sports charmer of a food culinary thief mechanic and wrecker have his OWN games. Preferrably and based on the wide array of things hes known for
2: At least have a Wario & Waluigi have their own series: Like retcon? that they ARE brothers but didnt know until later. Same father ( Spike ! )different mother. Reason why Waluigi didnt appear as baby in Yoshi Island games. Have them explore that as final conclusion of a buddy game
ANYWAY: The list..
- Waluigi gets his own game( s ) and cleared up relations with Wario
- Wario & Waluigi games aka: Partners/ Brothers ( chronologically AFTER they find out )in Crime. Wario & Waluigi: Heist/ Grand Heist of the Night/ Shenanigans Abound etc. Titles reflecting boths personalities, interests, occupations
- Have Link from the Zelda games return to be LEFT handed in games with more mature graphical and aesthetical looks, like BotW and TotK. Zero excuse regarding controls, Switch isnt dead-set on being mainly right handed as the Wii
- Have Yoshi games with all mainly known colors of yoshis be included and all colors linked to unique abilities alongside universal yoshi abilities
- Have orange spotted Toads appear in mainline games and future films
- Have Wario AND Waluigi appear in films aswell
I like this little list! I would love to see a Wario and Waluigi game. That would be absolutely incredible!

2 ways think this can go. We get wave in the new Mario party or one off update for. Superstars for like a year or 2. Sadly waves. More likely. Guesss lot like me want just normal dlc not waves stuff.
I’m obviously not gonna get my hopes up since this is Mario Party we’re talking about but if Nintendo actually were to give us DLC for the upcoming Super Mario Party Jamboree game and give us more boards some I’d like to see are Boo’s Haunted Bash and Koopa’s Tycoon Town
