If you want a thing bad enough
To go out and fight for it,
Work day and night for it,
Give up your time and your peace
And your sleep for it,
If only desire of it
Makes you quite mad enough
Never to tire of it,
Makes you hold all other things tawdry
And cheap for it,
If life seems all empty
and useless without it
And all that you scheme
And you dream is about it,
If gladly you'll sweat for it,
Fret for it, Plan for it,
Lose all your terror of God
or man for it,
If you'll simply go after that
thing that you want
With all your capacity,
Strength, and sagacity,
Faith, hope, and confidence,
stern pertinacity,
If neither cold poverty,
famished and gaunt,
Nor sickness nor pain
Of body and brain
Can turn you away from
the thing that you want,
If dogged and grim you
besiege and beset it,
You'll get it.

Really ? I think I'd sooner cheer the guy that wrote it, that slowed down BS recital is intended to scare and confuse folk. Personally I thought immediately how pathetic. I don't fear evil, run or hide from evil, I'll stare it down with strength I pray be bestowed in me by the Lord Jesus, Amen.

Wow! I don't comment much on CZcams, well, I don't comment much on any platforms at all, but when I do comment, that's when the comment had directly spoken to my heart. This is one of those comments, and I guess a lot of people including myself fall short in unwavering commitment department, that's why most of the people aren't achieving much during the course of their lives.
@Heart Haven it's werid, the way how we're wired, if you think of it. See for an example, I am completely fine in expressing myself here on YT in terms of the struggles that I faced in my life, whereas I wouldn't even dare doing so at work with my colleagues, that's because chances of someone judging me is almost non-existing, I mean I don't know the people who reads comments, so we all feel comfortable in sharing our stories.

I am currently sitting alone in the middle of nowhere, feeling lost, anxious, and worried about my future and where I am going. However, listening to this makes me realise that I do have a purpose, we all do! We all have a place in this life to do great things! I will get there and so will you. I believe in you. When we find our path, makesure it is the best path that you have ever walked on.
I've finished my graduation two years back and I've been writing Job exams ever since but sadly I am not able to get through any exams, doesn't mean that I didn't study, I did prepare and studied well for all my exams. But I don't understand why I am not able to clear my exams, lately the thought of giving up my struggle for a job came to my mind but I realize through this poem that I need to Put more pressure, more labour. All my past labour was not enough for me to reach the stars, I hope that I will not lose this Will power. I hope I can come back here to this comment and Rejoice my success one day in the future......
Keep fighting and never give in to the dark! You will get knocked back and you will trip and stumble along the way! Keep going and don’t stop!

I watched this video while preparing for 12th exams. I worked really hard. I was hospitalized for few days because of dengue and faced several other odds stacked up against me. And this year the result came and i achieved 10 cgpa/94.75%. i was just an average student who wanted to end his school life with highest marks he ever got. And i did it. Although i wanted to get 97, 98%. But i am somewhat happy not for the marks but what that hardwork made me. The confidence it gives me that i can do anything, if i put my mind to it. Finally someone who has a brain but even a nihilist have some worth, Nietzsche had some profound ideas, one of them was herd mentality, this negativity still persist in our times, to follow leaders who sound brilliant but they are not. This narrations is pure garbage, to follow a dream that could be destructive and at any price, there have been man that done this and hurt many people, man was stock broker and left his family and job and follow his dream to become a famous painter and hurt his wife and children and left them destitute. This is what is to follow your dream at any cost and that is the meaning of the narration. Wake up and don't be sheeps!!! You be like what Nietzsche said, A sheep!! Herd mentality, sheep.
