When I installed mine, I removed the middle screws in the bottom back and moved them outward to the next holes. Then I used a 3x3 block of 3/4" wood and screws and screwed into the wall to secure them better. I didn't use the Versatrack to hand either, I used Rubbermaid Fasttrack. Been 15 years and they are solid still.
I bought a Craftsman wall cabinet. It was advertised as 28" wide. It was actually 26 1/2" wide. Are your cabinets 28" wide? Thank You for your informative video.
mine were installed on a flat wall with the same cleat at the top. as a result they look like they're pulling away from the wall and scare the crap out of me. Can you tell me how deep the pallet wood is at the bottom of your cabinet so I can figure out what to screw in back there at the bottom so they'll stay straight on the wall. Thanks. Ps. Genius idea with the pallet wood on the wall! you don't have to worry about scuffs and you can literally hang anything anywhere now!
Looking at Lowes online, the corrugated 48" hanger is sold separately for around $10 bucks. These cabinets are about 30" wide and I don't know if they can be mounted to studs which would normally be on 16" centers. Kinda strange that way because most all wood cabinets that are intended to be wall hung are 32" wide so you can catch the studs even when you hang two or more. Looks like you can mount without the versa track, plenty of ways to catch at least two studs. Using either the track or a wooden cleat would be the easiest way to level these cabinets. I'm thinking the same setup... three cabinets.

Where do you guys get the idea that nailing ugly pallet wood to your walls gives it a farm look? There was no real farm in the history of farms that ever looked like this. It literally looks like you just nailed trash to your walls, which is exactly what you did.
