You will be fine on the quality of your tools. I worked 30 years ago as a hydraulic mechanic and all those black sockets I still have. You’re doing good 😊
Great respect for someone who has pride in their tools and does their own maintenance on machines and vehicles. Love your clean and tidy garage/workshop, a man after my own heart.
Thanks
You have a great collection. I always wondered why your truck looks so nice. I would love to have my car detailed. You're a great person and you always take pride in what you do. And I love your comment at the end, about God is always watching which is true. Stay true and God bless.
Cool! I did get tickled thinking about Tim Allen saying,” roo, roo, roo” as you’re going over your tools! Tool time sitcom. Your garage is very organized and clean! Awesome!
That torx bit set looks to be exactly like the lisle set that I own, might be the same
You are correct
Definitely Lisle
That was my thought as well.
One of the best videos - that just makes you happy listening to a nice voice that's passionate and so well organised. Much appreciated.
Definitely a solid setup man. Just about everything you’d need for at home wrenching and mower repair!
I do want one of those Darwin’s grips. Thanks for the content. I have used the griots synthetic clay “bar” pad, it works well and is a little easier on the hands. Plus if you drop it, you can just rinse it off. If I dropped a clay bar, I would probably trash it at that point.
I’ve used the mothers synthetic clay pad and it works awesome! It’s nice because if you do drop it you can just wash it off and keep working
Got a good set up. I have and use many of the icon tools. Haven’t been disappointed yet with any so far.
Great tool box set up! Don't know if you have heard of them but Capri tools have some amazing tools at a very good price! Hope you had a blessed 2023 Lawncare season.
Nice to see other lawn care workshops, and your toolbox Thank you
In reference to your Ace Professional 1/2 dr ratchet, I have the exact same style ratchet in 3/8 that I bought at Tractor Supply under the name Jobsmart. I think I paid $17 years ago and it is a surprisingly strong with smooth ratcheting compared to my Craftsman Professional low profile ratchet. It's easy to access the internals for cleaning. Thanks for the informative video!
Nice shop, if you cut some thicker liner material to fit where the screw drivers and prybars go on the left and right of the top compartment you can then make some smaller holes that will fit screw drivers that you have in your collection. Plus will keep the paint from scratching.
Nice set up I'm the same way I'm a maintenance mechanic and it's not always brand name stuff which is good to have but what matters is having the tools you need and harbor freight tools are great!.I have a mixed tool box also, different brands.... Your on the right track man 👍
I've used the Mothers Clay Bar pad on newer cars, and I've had great results. On older paint I stick with regular clay.
The sockets on the harbor freight organizers are made to be flipped over to go over the hump at the bottom ratchet side up!
I remember the old Ace professional brand tools. I had a huge socket, ratchet and wrench set years ago that was my travel kit for a while. Surprisingly good quality.
I would love a Darwin’s grip! I’m sure it would make it easier for me to handle my sthil gas straight shaft weed eater or stick edger! Love your videos on all your channels!
Awesome send me an email: fillslawn@gmail.com
@@fillslawncareplus email sent!
came here for tool box stayed for detailing set up maybe i need to build a toolbox for my detailing stuff.
I've never heard a bad thing about icon except from the tool truck chasers
Regarding the Harbor Freight socket holder, if you cut off the round portion of the post you should be able to put the sockets in hex side up.
I agree with you on the cheap plastic drawer locks on the series 3 boxes. Thats why i think the series 2 were way better built. Nice tool box tour sir. Btw icon makes a lot of good tools nothing wrong with hf tools. I love that store!
Darwins grips look cool. I'd love to try one someday ;)
Great setup...i like the detail cart especially..definitely gave me some ideas..do you like the Darwin handle better than a shoulder strap? been needing to get something like that for my trimmer. thanks.
I highly recommend getting a bike repair vice for tuning your handheld OPE
Man u have nice setup of tools congrats, for the Mother's clay pad believe me that think is worthy and very handy, I use a lot actually have 2 of them just lubricate well and keep clean it's very quick to use and reuse
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that chrome sockets make a drawer look good, impact sockets help you buy more chrome sockets.
For your old screwdrivers you should get a wall mount rack and just put them on your garage wall for easy grab or rough use jobs.
You should look into Tekton tools.
Couldn’t finish. Thx for sharing. Watching from Ontario Canada 🎉
Really cool video Fill!
I have the same Ace Professional series of wrenches, also oddly only the SAE set, no metrics! I haven't ever seen another set until now. Mine were a gift from my father when I bought my first house. They're excellent!
Right on
I'm a little late watching the video, but I could really use and would greatly appreciate one of those Darwin grips. I just got a new battery operated weed eater because the gas ones are too heavy and I can't use electric ones because of my mobility issues. It's funny I was just thinking about them yesterday. If I missed out oh well, congrats to the recipients.
Darwin grip would be nice . Thanks
Wow amazing!
Yes I did watch it all the way to the end
Love the setup man. Ill be up there with you eventually lol.
If you have the room for Icon, it kinda makes sense to get Icon as they usually come with their own organizer i notice...
Great setup. As a professional auto mechanic I’ve used a lot of brands and anything that gets the job done is a good brand for me. I could never have all impact sockets though lol. I hate the feeling of impact sockets so it’s rare I grab them with hand tools. If I have gloves on I will if I need too but still prefer chrome. I also work on my own Stihl equipment at home as well as my cars too of course as a mechanic. I have more tools at home than I do at work lol.
Awesomme! Thanks for sharing
Nice tool set(s)....😊
LOL!! This guy is like my professional doppelganger. We both literally have the same skill sets! LOL! But my man looks like he's doing good for himself. Better than me! Keep it up my Brother.
Very cool!
Good job and God bless you and your family
Those torx are probably Makita. I have their 3/8 impact sockets and they are in the same packaging.
Those look like Lisle or KD Tools Impact Torx bits in that red plastic holder.
I want one! I just bought a new Husqvarna trimmer. That would be a great addition.
I want your shop and toy collection. I don't know what I would do in there but it's a candy store to me. 🤣🤣🤣 this from a 68 year old woman 🤣🤣
You can get 3m clear protective film to put on it and you can hardly tell it’s on .
I just picked up one the 34” 6 drawers and agree the slide locks are annoying do your drawers still lock with those removed?
Those are Craftman rachet sockets and Ace is still in business but you have to Google. Sending you Christmas Gift soon for the winter. 😊😊😊 I worked at a Toyota dealer ship and your looking good for tools.
I would love to have one but I'm to late love your content keep up the great work and God Bless
Clay is all you need. If you use that mothers foam clay scrubber it will hologram the paint
Thanks for sharing.
How are you liking all the icon tools? How are they holding up for you?
I think the US General 34 in tool box looks great and I would have bought it, but compared to the price of the US General 44 series 2 box is less than half the cost at $250, compared to the $599 of this 34 in.
Nice video.😁😁
Fancy!
Watching this video makes me want to go buy another tool box and tools 😅
Pretty sure those torx are makita my impact makita sockets have the same exact rubber holder
the red rubber rail is craftsman's old bit/socket holder style, can't speak to the sockets tho @9:54
I think the torx bits are lisle.
I am pretty sure your torx sockets are made by Lisle.
Just saw your video not bad my friend.
I want one!
I could use a darwin grip!
I think that’s a lisle torque set
Torx bits could be Lyle brand
Meguiars is the way to go 😉
Спасибо ❤
Hardly a scratch on anything in the box or the background equipment....not even the magnetic bolt dish. Cheers to your success....I hope you don't have payments outstanding.
Serve it up😁
nice
I want one
Part number on that drawer divider? 16:58 into the video
How did you delete the slide locks on your full bank cart?!
You just remove all the sliders under the handles. Look on the end of each handle, there should be a push tab that will allow you to slide it off
1/4” impact sockets? I don’t think you’ll ever break a chrome 1/4” socket because there isn’t enough torque in any impact. Even 3/8”. You’ll rarely ever break them especially if you’re just doing car/mower repairs. Nice setup though. Nice clean garage.
I think this guy used to wrench alot But Idk
1/4 inch impact sockets are unnecessary. No 1/4 inch tool makes enough torque to make them needed
Good for small engine repair
These a toolaholic group on Facebook for you lol
Iam a member with my big tool collection
