In case you see it again-
Monsignor is pronounced "mon-senior"
It's not a name but a title.
Super cool mausoleum!
Beatiful Catholic mausoleum! Thanks for sharing...
I have family in that mausoleum and you actually showed them. Thank you❤️
Thanks so much,Matt!! So glad you got inside the larger mausoleum🪦🏛
Nice find.
Hi Matt. Beautiful interior in the Resurrection mausoleum.Love the stained glass windows. Many statues in the building, as expected in a catholic cemetery.Impressive, used materials are quite expensive.Enjoyed the episode, looking forward to new episodes of this place. Thanks for sharing Matt.
As a Catholic, I especially enjoyed this podcast. Thanks for sharing, Matt. 😊
Love this mausoleum! Thanks!
Thanks for your episodes I love I have been watching them for 2 years
Thanks! I really appreciate the long term support!
I so love the respect you have with all aspects of your explores. You rock Matt❤
Your persistence paid off and you got in. What an incredible mausoleum. That ceiling was especially incredible with the stars on there. Cool video. Gtsy Matt and see you next time.
I love Mausoleums! Thanks Matt ! That place is beautiful!!
Keep up the great work Matt.
I think faces of the forgotten covered this one too......great video
Yes, he probably did..I can't remember though🏛🪦
Stopped watching Faces of the Forgotten after the way he handled The Forgotten/Lost Cemetery in Labaugh Woods, Chicago.
He claimed the graves were moved because of his in with the Bohemian Cemetery. If they were moved, they could be visited. But he didn't and he also made light of the graves that clearly remain.
That mausoleum was amazing!!, it was beautiful, its always awesome to walk through them , thanks so much for sharing. I loved the pictures of the Dear ones with their urns, it's nice to see what they looked like, looking forward to part 11. Maybe later you can get permission to go down to the basement, it might be a little creepy, but interesting. Have a great weekend Matt, stay safe. 😊
Hi. I'm also fascinated by mausoleums. Every chance I get I'll explore them. Thanks! FYI , The definition of a Monsignor is,: monsignor, Italian Monsignore, a title of honour in the Roman Catholic Church, borne by persons of ecclesiastic rank and implying a distinction bestowed by the pope, either in conjunction with an office or merely titular.
Pronounced "monsenyore".
More indoor large mausoleums very relaxing and almost asmr (your voice)❤
Gonna do more soon as I can, trying to locate some I can get into!
Beautiful stained glass!
I love the history! sometimes it's hard to imagine, people were around in the 1800's. :) Thanks for making these videos.
That ceiling is amazing. Also, I don't think mausoleum asmr is a thing but it should be. This video is relaxing for some reason 👻
Thanks Matt
What luck to be able to get into this beautiful building!
Love your work .
I love these old Mausoleums. Full of history. Thank you Matt❤💙
Mausoleum have basements? please explain why and whats down there and the reason for it. loved this video..mausoleum was beautiful to be 100 years old.
Cool 🥰
Bless your heart you look tired.
Maybe behind those smaller locked doors are vaults for cremation remains of people whose names are on those two walls from each side of entrance. That's the cheepest burial option here, urn go to underground vault with others and few times a year they carve names of new burials in granite covered wall above vaults.
Why were they all Reverends and not Fathers? 🤔 And those sounds sounded more like somebody walking than a loose door. Brave man.
Thats Monsignor pronounced Mon-Senior.
Unusual, no religious quotes or family sentiments on any of these compartments for the deceased.
That is a really creepy place. I got very bad vibes.
Monsignor is a title of a priest . It is not another language!
It is a foreign language, from the Italian "Monsignor is the apocopic form of the Italian monsignore". Apocopic is "when the final section or syllable of a word is cut off, it's called an apocope. The word "photo" is an apocope of "photograph."
