Lewistown Pistol Club - May IDPA Match - Ruger GP100 Match Champion Revolver .38/.357 REV/SS

Video of the May Lewistown Pistol Club (LPC) Outdoor IDPA match. A great way to spend part of a holiday weekend - 6 extremely well put together stages that were challenging and fun.
Shooting a Ruger GP100 Match Champion .38/.357 revolver using .38 special in the REV/SS division/classification.
The stages at LPC always test shooter skills and today was no different. I had 3 misses that hurt my time a lot - a miss on the up/down on Stage 3, and then 2 barrel hits that did not count as target hits on Stage 5. Also drilled a non-threat on Stage 5 too.
No stuck cases - no light primer strikes, so I will find some positive in that!
Was hoping the match would be a warm up/confidence booster for the Rust Belt coming up next weekend in New Castle, PA but it was more of a "wheels came off" on a couple stages instead type match.
LPC is a great place to shoot - the MD works hard to design challenging but fun stages for all skill levels. Look them up on Practiscore - through the summer they run outdoor matches 4th Sunday of the month.
