    That heatshrink’s a great idea! On most magnetos I lube up and slide the boot on first. Then after installing the spring terminal it’s easy to pull the boot down over the terminal. Doesn’t work on ones with extreme bends, but for most it’s easy peasey.

    Racing mower or sporting type of go karts: Heli Coil everything. Follow instructions for drilling and taping. Clean well. Insert coil with epoxy like the gray stuff. Insert an oiled bolt and let set 24hr to be sure. Zero failures to date.
