i feel adrian and gary are so similar. both won back to back world champs and won against eachother at the same score line. both extreme talents with 2 of the nicest throws in the game

Rewatching this now. Ando not been the same since he started wearing glasses it feels like apart from the 2018 matchplay. Can only remember Gary as a dominant force before he started wearing glasses aka 2016 champs and before

Remember Lewis vs Taylor that was INSANE AND EXCITING ASK HELL!! THE most 180's they set a new record I think Taylor had a 9 dart finish. Dart average was like 120 to 118.
It's weird bc I'm a hockey, football, and lacrosse guy full contact by these dart players have finness, excitement, pinpoint accuracy then feathered by the crowd noise!! Love it!!
And the best world championship ever. So many close games with an incredible standard. Was hard to see my two favourite players lost in the semi‐final and the final angainst MvG, but it was brillant from start to finish this tournament.

One incredible thing with darts, is that even if it's require a serious amount of focus, fan chants are not only tolerated, they're part of the sport's culture. While in tennis, you'd be thrown out of the court if you scream a player's name during exchanges! 😆
This version of Lewis can wipe the floor with anyone today or in history. As for Anderson when he's on form and I say when! He's unbeatable, infact the best. For me Anderson is the Ronnie o'sullivan of darts, like the rocket in snooker, he is the most naturally gifted darts player I've ever seen.
