If you listen carefully to what the priest was saying, he was saying Preacher Witting's line in the game's beginning. so maybe he's an alternate version of him. plus, Booker was ugly. and in this alternate universe, Handymen are easy to kill...

Bioshock is my favorite game franchise ever and Infinite did not disappoint. So immersive, beautifully crafted worlds, amazingly complex and interesting stories. I miss it.

Perhaps you just truly hate this game. And that's fine. It is your rightful opinion.
Perhaps also you feel it was not a game, which is also your rightful opinion.
I will gladly debate with you the constructs of the game, story, or the philosophy of what constitutes a game if you would like, as long as you maintain constructive responses and this doesn't downgrade to what most internet conversations tend to become.
That being said, regardless of whether or not you were able to predict the ending, does that make it a bad story? While this is presented as a twist, I tend to see these games as just as much character driven as it is plot driven. The fact that Elizabeth finds you ammo or money or salts isn't a cheap cop out, it's a realistic portrayal of having a sidekick, because that is what a normal person would do to survive.
While, yes, you could play through Infinite in a fairly short amount of time, it would take you much longer than twelve hours to actually explore all that is offered to you. This was an experience intended to be found and discovered beyond a traditional linear story. You must also remember the delays and budget issues that went behind this game. It was supposed to be much larger and longer, but there is only so much money that can be poured into a project before someone has to say enough.

Patrick Hogan Look, it's beautiful. I practically wept when I first saw Columbia. And yeah, it's easy as hell the first time through on Easy difficulty. I mean, for a challenge, try 1999 mode once you unlock it.
But all in all, this trailer kicked the crap out of the actual game, and if I'm not mistaken, was the first Bioshock not intended to be a horror game of sorts? This had none of that feel.

Given that the dialogue being said by the preacher is actually Preacher Witting's speech in the start of the game (the one where he goes "it would have been enough" a bunch of times), they might think she's in with the vox.
You know, it dawned on me: If the people in Columbia want to protect Elizabeth at all costs, why would they try to hang her like in this trailer?

I think it would've been nice to change the after credits epilogue to one of Booker and "Anna", as she was in the end, in Paris. Just to give it a fun sense of bittersweetness.
"So much better"? This game surpassed my expectations, and probably the expectations of others as well. The ending, the characters, your relationship with Elizabeth. Everything was perfect, beautiful, and amazing.

To this day she looks stunning. And now we got to see many gorgeous looking chicks in games but Elizabeth has this timeless beauty that you can't help but look at her and say wow she is gorgeous

The trailers always look so crisp! It’s kinda disappointing when you play the actual game and it’s not the same. Don’t get me wrong, the graphics for Infinite were great! The trailer just takes it to a WHOLE other level

Fun fact :- Elizabeth's little finger in another dimension , evolved and became Lord baelish in Game of Thrones
This version of Elizabeth appears during the ending of infinite when drowning booker and is one of the ones that dissolve. My theory for this trailer being cannon is that this is a different universes events for booker. After all, different bookers have failed over a hundred time prior to the booker we play as during infinite as shown during the heads and tails coin flip.
Yes there’s also the version of Elizabeth from the e3 trailer which probably indicates that those were also canon

I never had a problem killing a Handyman. I quite often need to visit the local kiosk to get some ammo but in the 5 or so times I have played the game at all levels, yes even 1999, no Handyman ever killed me. Now other less lethal AIs? Yep I got killed plenty of time! :)

Gotta love that part in the game where Elizabeth is about to be hung on the back of a real horse. They could've at least made it one of those mechanical ones that show up at the beginning of the game and then are never shown or mentioned again.

In my Opinon I think this is the Alternative Reality when Booker Joined The Vox populi and died a hero for the Vox because at the beginning of the trailer Comstock is talking about the Vox populi
The vigor he's using is Bucking Bronco as you can see the stuff lifts up. Also his hand has the same texture when using it.
Well this gives you an idea of the gameplay pacing and the battle parts so it is a good commercial
