@@PHATT_TV thanks so much man!
If Einstein says to subscribe,I'm doin it n you oughtta get to it !!!!
Because he was a boxer .... het knows how and where to hit
The worst with Pereira it look like sometimes he just touch , not even hit them. And they out STRAIGHT.
"In his amateur career he had 25 wins-" me: oh nice "-with all 25 by knockout" me: excuse me what?!
LOL he s a killer.
So cool to have 2 amazing strikers with such different styles alive at the same time and competing.
Lol 😂
He did an interview the other day and said he actually had 29 amateur fights. 26 wins by knockout and three losses. He wasn't bragging about the knockouts, he was making a point of mentioning the three losses were to the same opponent. That some opponents have your number and that if he had fought a fourth time against this opponent he would have lost again. He doesn't have a giant or sensitive ego like most fighters.
🤩🤣
@@bianohehe who was the opponent?
Why was this guy just introduced into the UFC as “the guy who KOed Adesanya?” His kickboxing merit is as good if not better than Adesanya’s. Probably the most decorated kickboxer going into MMA. He was champ in two weight divisions.
I take that back... adensanya 75 wins, 5losses in kickboxing. That is a crazy record as well. November 12 is going to be an exciting matchup for standup fighters.
@@redemptionsong8086 I would say Alex is a better more decorated kickboxer but far the record may show 75-5 which is really good but all of those losses came in championship fights as well as he never won a World Championship in kickboxing. Meanwhile Alex is a 2 division WC and a multiple time MW Champ.
@@redemptionsong8086 Alex also KO’d most of the fighters that beat Izzy as well. Like Jason Wilnis, Simon Marcus x2 plus Alex beat Izzy x2 and then Izzy lost to a bum early on in his career his 5 losses. Izzy also went 2-2 in Glory the same promotion Alex dominated. Which was also the biggest promotion either fought for in their kickboxing careers.
Because it sounds more appealing to people who aren't as well versed in combat sports.
@@redemptionsong8086 Dude Alex also beat adesanya twice, so even if adesanya was in _some universe_ 'better' Alex has his number.
This guy ends his fight with same face expression as he starts them. The real life one punch man.

@@gladsonsoares1118 i mean, 3-0. he definitely knows 🤣
Knees are equally accurate and powerful.
@@ycc9369 his knees are disgusting but that left hook is one of a kind. It might be the best left hook in combat sports today. I think even Smokin Joe would be a little impressed
Got so many guys who thought their defense was in the right place only for the lights to shut out. Crazy accurate.
Finally someone pointing how good he is, people act like he is just a strong dude
He is natural born fighter.. very talented, he is one of those guys who always got good hands
did you even watch the video? every single one of his wins that werent blowouts (aka every important victories) was him getting his ass handed to him from a technical standpoint and then he knocking them out all of a sudden with raw power. another case of cut the weight till you die and juice away. this sport is such a joke.
The technique behind those blows is just perfect, real crisp and he lands them clean.

The Man who turned Izzy in a Wrestler.
😂😂
The man that turned Izzy into a punching bag dummy. ;D
That's the best line of that matter: "The man who turned Izzy in a Wrestler". Genius coment Dud!
Izzy izzy izzy lol
@@wilsonrawlin8547 Except the final round, Izzy had that match won. Don't be so disrespectful
Man has a genetically perfect kinetic chain. Look at his bone structure, he got the skeleton, tendons and ligaments of a heavy weight, muscles of a middleweight.
It’s why his punches send dudes to the shadow realm without looking particularly fast.
he's got freak power thats for sure
you idiot just copied and pasted the bs that joe rogan said verbatim. ya goof
@@mightynathaniel5355 what are you talking about I don’t watch Joe Rogan mate.
Dude’s a weird stoner who mostly talks nonsense.
Don’t call strangers idiots, it’s rude.
He cuts weight from like 230. Of course he knocks out smaller fighters.
Poatan even if he loses to Adesanya I would still think he can trade with Ngannou
First: Poatan has a body compatible with heavyweights
second: Ngannou has more power in his hands, but Poatan has 70% of Ngannou's power, but Poatan makes up for it in the technical difference in striking. Ngannou is easier for Poatan to hit him than Adesanya who has the best distance control in the entire UFC
And in Jiri's category if Poatan goes up I'm sure he'll win, Jiri is very open, it's easier for Poatan to get this belt than Adesanya
Doesn't it seem strange that in 3 categories, the most difficult for Poatan to knock out the champion is precisely Adesanya, who is the lightest category? 😁😁😁
It may seem like a conspiracy theory, but Adesanya and Poatan have the two best striking in the UFC, Jiri and Ngannou automatically come out behind Poatan in the standup, only Adesanya can keep up with him
Adesanya did not succeed in moving up the category because he does not have a body for heavyweights
And not even power in the hands to knock out heavy fighters
But Poatan has the two weapons needed to do that.
It's because Ngannou is a monster, if he was Miocic maybe he could
Thing that gets overlooked about him is the accuracy of his striking. His striking isn’t flashy yet still so accurate. He’s not just a “if it lands you’re done” he will methodically and tactically get to the shot he’s looking for and cut u down in the process
Wow, this dude is a monster. TWO division champion in the UFC within 2 years. That is unheard of.
That's what happens when you're objectively a weigh bully.

alex is the epitome of stay in there and keep going and stick with your basics, you might be losing but you can still win the fight. Hes truly epic.
Well said. Alex can take serious power shots almost like nothing happened. Man is made of IRON. His left hook is insane power. How he literally makes his opponents entire body react to the impact is crazy power.
You can only do that if you have an iron chin as if it's glass, then it's not happening. Alex's chin might be made from tungsten.
He's got that thing Buakaw has where he's able to generate ridiculous amounts of torso rotation from a relaxed position.. but in a much, much larger frame with long arms and legs. The torque he can deliver is really scary
You just summed it up. I was trying to work out what it was and it’s just like you said. Relaxed twist snap.
Core. When a fighter focuses a lot of attention on core mobility, flexibility, and development- the sky is the limit. You want your torso, stomach, groin, all as flexible and explosive as possible.
His frame and the way he pressures also is pretty scary and it looks like it brings panicked strikes out of opponents
@@saintultra2737facts
I would just like to acknowledge the absolute class Alex shows when he's well aware he's hurt his opponent and doesn't try to land more unnecessary punches.
Literally every fight on this highlight reel he's done this.
Nothing better to add to your already formidable skill and ability than some good karma.
#Respect
🙏🏾
Because in the rules of Kickboxing, the fighter does not need to completely KO the opponent for the judge to interrupt. It's like opening the count in boxing. In MMA, even if the opponent is semi-knocked out, he still wants to fight, the fight is free, so the fighters strike until they black out or the opponent tap out.
Hespec*
Perfect!!
@@adrianodib true, but many in kickboxing still just keep going until the ref jumps in to pull them off. Alex doesn’t have to hit that crazy mode to finish his opponents
@@WorkerBeesUnite There's no Gnd N Pnd in kickboxing. Different than MMA rules.
I think his composure and maturity is the most impressive thing didn't brag at all after beating Strickland. That's a guy you need to worry about.
Cause dude was on a mission to get Izzy, didn't matter who was between it. He could have just KO'd Jon Jones and he would have been just as humble, just wanted to murder up the ranks til he got to what he wanted.
I thought watching Alex kick a ball and then shoot that ball in the air with a bow and arrow was bad ass. But that ending clip where he is covered with gold belts and still does a perfect kick to take the lid off of a water bottle and yet not knock the bottle down is up there too hahaha. Poatan was made to fight

@@LawrenceKenshin Bro this is such good editing, how did you get that effect on Izzy at 2:19!? So good!
The best power in UFC !!! Power for Brazil !
The Chechen can kill him easy in 1 minute
The flex out of his hips to throw those compact and heavy leg kicks is *INSANE* 😳
Economy of movement and proper fighting posture. All his punches are loaded from the hip, no unnecessary swinging, same goes for his knees and kicks. The strikes get from point A to point B directly and without losing any power while traveling. Minimal telegraphing, feints not included. He has a solid, fundamentally sound form which gives him this brutal power and excellent managing of distance and positioning.
Also very very precise and very good at punching thru guard and tricking opponent into guarding wrong place
you think the guys he's knocking out aren't aware of this and have practiced years to put it into their fights? nah pereria is just like that
That last hook is one of the best placed shots I have ever seen .. the way he settled back to make room for that MK uppercut 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I gotta admit. That man seems like he's throwing dynamite rather than hits
Fr bruh 💀
damn his power is another level. Gotta try the signature left hook!
The opponents always try to block it on the side of jaw, not knowing it’ll hit the chin!

Great editing friend, congratulations on the video. I will add that in the kickboxing rematch in São Paulo-Brazil, at Glory of Heroes 7, Poatan was not going to fight, as he was one of the guest organizers, but the kickboxer who was going to fight Izzy ended up withdrawing 2 weeks before the event, so Poatan was invited to replace the kickboxer.

I've never seen anyone this confident in themselves. Do you see how he stops as soon as he knows his opponent is finished? He can throw 1 strike, keep going, 2 strike, keep going, 3 strike, opponent is still standing - but he knows he's finished. Stops.
He NEVER chases the hammerfist, he never closes a match-ending kick with another punch.
He just straight up dominates and knows himself so well that he knows the opponent is finished before his opponent or the referee does.
