So pumped that you guys loved pollos chingones!! I was a little anxious to see if you would like it, but happy to see they haven't lost their touch 🙌🏻 they definitely remodeled a ton since when we were there - I guess the chicken business is booming! Also, we lol'ed at 'cuidemos la laguna' 😂

I felt like such an idiot trying to read that sign! I hadn’t heard the word cuidemos before so I was like, yeah, that’s totally gotta be the name! I decided to leave it in the video because, well, you know, that’s exactly how foreign travel goes sometimes! 😆 We noticed a big difference in the decor at the chicken place too. I do think the same guy served us that was in your video! Thanks for watching! ❤️

I just saw your channel and have enjoyed watching a few of your videos. In this one, you go to a bar and get drinks that have ice. Arn’t you concerned about getting ill? How do you know the ice is made from filtered water? Your video also shows a meal at your AB&B with lettuce and tomato? Would you consider that safe to eat?

Hi! Welcome to our channel! So almost every restaurant has ice that is safe to have. A lot of people do not realize this, but the local Mexicans also cannot drink the water. So it’s pretty safe to have the ice when in Mexico. If you are ever unsure, you can always ask the server/bar tender if it’s purified water that made the ice. You will see tons of people delivering ice all over the place. We did eat lettuce and other veggies while in Mexico and never had an issue. Restaurants tend to make sure their veggies are cleaned properly so no issues with the water occur. So in nearly 6 months in Mexico we always had ice in our drinks and ate most but not all veggies that came our way and had zero problems. Of course upset stomachs can happen anywhere in the world so just be diligent about what you consume. If we are ever unsure, we would just ask. The last thing a restaurant wants is to get a bad reputation for getting people sick so they do a great job with ice and food prep in almost all locations. Thanks for watching and please reach out if you have any other questions!
