Ren said Money Game Part 3 was the best music video he ever made, but Seven Sins was the greatest song he ever made. Both were the only songs he wrote in 2023 while in Canada!
I've heard him describe the video for MG3 as the best video but I've never heard him say that Seven Sins was the best song he's ever written. I've heard him say how much he likes it and that it's one of his favourites on the album. Where did he say it's the best song he's ever written?

The layers he put into Seven Sins is crazy - there is a lot going on in that song - so I can definitely see why he would say that. In the same way that Money Game 3 was his biggest, most complex and elaborate video - so it makes sense. When, as an artist, you can bring more of the vision you have in your mind to the surface, that will always have more of your heart.
Ren doesn't deserve to be number one just for the fact that no one really "deserves" anything. Ren EARNED number 1!!!
The fact that the first part is in Welsh is pure class from Ren. A little shoutout to the small country we are from 👌

How the hell can Ren keep producing these stunning tracks, I guess the obvious answer is because he is totally unique and on a level of his own. Lovely reaction.
For this one the listener really needs to understand what Ren has gone through and also where he was in life at the time of writing this. It adds so much more perspective to the song especially the first verse about clawing the lino and crawling etc

If you've been through chronic illness, where one day you wake up and the shit starts and it eventually dawns on you it's not going away and you're going to have to deal with it. Then I think you can really relate to Ren's lyrics, that are triggered by what he's gone through and is still dealing with.
Because he's so honest ,I find it very cathartic and it helps me process what I went through. Plus music has been my saviour so many times throughout my life. It really does carry you threw those rough patches. I'm a pretty positive guy though to be honest, but I still think you need to process stuff and Ren's lyrics certainly help me do that.
Most people , especially guys bottle shit up and that's when the problems start. So it's great that Ren's become both a voice for people suffering and a means for you to talk to others about it and open that steam valve.

Great song! I’m not religious but I understand that not one person has an answer so I respect those that believe in whatever they choose and recognise the benefits that religion can bring. I love the line about witnessing the death of god from his bed it reminded me of Nietzsche, he’s a clever boi our Ren.

One thing I don't think I've seen anyone mention yet but has wracked my head since I first head it the day he dropped the album... "one sin for every one day of the week" ... OR "one sin for everyone, day of the weak." almost as if to say we all have our vices, you just have to pick your poison. Ren truly is a master with words and his production on this is AMAZING. I'd kill to watch him create a song to see the method to his madness and see if I can learn from him to improve my own workflow lol
Ren did an interview with Justin Hawkins and he said when he was undiagnosed he at one point thought it was a demon that was causing his illness and he was turning to religion and even exorcism, spiritists, and satanists for help. I think when nothing was helping he denounced it all. He says now that he is an agnostic , not an atheist, because he doesn’t know, and he won’t rule out the existence of God. I can’t even imagine going through what he has, it would be very hard to keep your faith. I am a Christian, it his hard to hear some of his message but I understand. I was a drug addict for 6 years, the only thing that got me out was my faith.

I wish “we” were turning 30! Fr tho, my 30s will probably be the pinnacle of it all for me. . Still young enough to be unreasonably healthy but finally mature enough to face my shortcomings as a human and work on the ones that bothered me. I felt comfortable in my own skin in a way that my 20 year old self could never. Also did the marriage and kids thing… but while I settled down I also felt super independent and capable. Happy early birthday, welcome to possibly the best decade of your life! ❤

Ren in one interview He considered Himself a religion tourist. This was when all the medical processes failed Him. He didn't find what He was looking for in that . Good reaction T.U.
Ren's said that he's not religious but that he enjoys religious imagery and allegory, from all religions,. With a song titled Seven Sins, it's obvious that it's Christian imagery that will be front and centre. Also, although most Brits aren't religious, it remains a country with a Christian heritage and background, so there's a strong cultural influence still. In other songs there have been references to aspects of Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam.
Ren did mention at the end of the Money Game conclusion that he is agnostic. Whether or not that was admitting his change in faith or just part of his poem is subject for clarification though.
Ren had me at onomatopoeia. 😄This might be my favorite on the album.
I’ve had the download of the album for over a week now and I haven’t heard the whole thing yet. That’s because I can’t get past the first track of the album, this one. Seven Sins. Keep playing it on repeat.

The bridge is so beautiful (where he sings), I wish he'd turned it into a chorus. In fact, if he'd just repeated it once by putting it at the end of the song...
But it's his creative decision and i can't argue with that! #1 album debut in the UK, after all ^_^

In Money Game 3 Ren talks about how money, politics and borders are a human invention.
Religion is also an invention.

I love to see people’s reactions to Rens music. He has stated that he is an agnostic, but he questions Gods existence a lot, asking why such horrors occur on this earth when some ‘omnipotent’ being could prevent those horrors. Maybe we all need to learn from Ren and become a symbiotic entity with the planet, rather than raping it for greed, money and power. Bring on the Renaissance!

The line “fear of the unknown preserves a religion” gets me every time, both in life and specifically for Ren and his faith. I imagine him thinking about mortality and possibly dying very young and how much he may hate god or doubt god exists. Then he starts getting scared because of his condition and prays to god for life and relief…is he really a believer? Does he really have faith? Or is he just scared that NOT believing will curse him once he is gone? Just some thoughts.
