Ren's repertoire goes so deep, you really never know what sort of song is coming next, and it's AMAZING. I just caught "Crucify Your Culture," and it is FIRE. I think you'd love it, for completely different reasons than "Hi Ren" or "Illest of our Time".

Ash love your comments after the song calling out those who criticise purely for attention. I'm the first to admit that hip hop and rap are not really my cup of tea at all but I can really appreciate the talent levels and creative genius in those songs and performances.

Han Solo is my favorite since I was 5 and I am 48 now. I also the The Empire Strikes Back as my favorite of all of them. Han uses a light saber to save Luke and Luke finds out Darth Vader is his father. Plus Yoda was introdused to the world. Han and Leah fall in love and the most pimp line in move history be for he gets frosen. .....Leah tell Han she loves him and he simply says....I know!.....Boom!

"Overhwlemed by the amount of support for illest Of Our Time. Have been loving watching all the reaction videos and hearing everyone's interpretation. I never usually break down my own words because I love letting people apply their own meaning, but there was one line I wanted to explain. The title of the song. Alot of people took this to mean "The greatest Of Our Time"
"Look for all the answers that I never seem to find,
Till then I guess I'm still the illest of our time"
Its my reluctance to be the illest - the clue is in the word 'guess' - ive spent the better part of a decade looking for solutions to the damage lyme disease dealt with countless doctors visits, and am still in that boat. "Illest" can also mean "dopest" "best" etc. So it's a bit of a double entendre. Same as "Sick boi"
This theme is repeated with the line "elementary dear Watson you might find" cause Sherlock Holmes was always searching for the clues to piece the puzzle together, which is very relatable when trying to piece together parts of a very complex health picture, anyone with a very complex illness will relate to almost having to become your own detective.
And finally

Me: To me it's like Ren is psyching himself up to get bigger, how much bigger? Big enough to have the power to create a standardized treatment for Lyme Disease & an early detection system... hyuge you gotta be hyuge. That takes millions upon millions upon millions of dollars, but Ren ain't rich never has been most of the money goes to medicine. Some of the reactors have more subscribers than he does. that's why he feels like Atlas sometimes maybe like the weight of the medical world is on his shoulders but he can't shrug it off. he got a go fund me for his medical bills but I doubt it covers much medicine is crazy expensive, but if he ever gets Eminem level money Jay Z level money Kanye level money he might actually make a mark on this world far better than the aforementioned.
As a ginger I wish for the same attention as the kitty.

It worries me about this next generation growing up with constant social media. So many kids my daughters went to school with lived with their phones attached to them basically. Always being in the view of others has to be so exhausting, and then they get crucified years later for stupid mistakes of youth. It’s a lot.

I found living with Depression, Anxiety and a Borderline Personality Disorder, I started seeing the beauty within the darkness around me. Ren has become my favourite artist ever as i relate to so much of his music and watching your reactions and how true they are is wonderful to see. My favourite ever star wars character is darth maul, I'm definitely the darkside
He's not just incredibly lyrically but has an insane intuitive knowledge of the way music should sound and work, which is why he is so special in a society of Kardashian types and bullshit pop music that has been bombarded down our throats and corrupted the way music should sound and be, all hail the King!!!

I think that when people say that something sucks they have tunnel vision you know? They're stuck on one genre. They don't hear the message and art. I've learned from watching some reactors how to appreciate music more and see and hear it differently. I'm a metalhead but I love listening to Ren I fell down that Ren Rabbit Hole and man is such good art. Many other artist who've made it to my playlist probably never would have 5 yrs ago because I was stuck in one genre. Anyways great reaction again Ashley. Your positivity and sweet dance moves lol are slowly having you become one of my favorites to watch.
