Could you tell ren that he is impacting youth all the way to grandparents, people with all sorts of struggles, people that hide there pain, the only thing that sucks is that these people have to go through hell with a smile plastered on their face.

I think the biggest thing that I’ve noticed with Ren’s music and people reacting to it is that it has seemed to open up people’s emotions for everyone to see. It’s actually affecting people at their core. It’s making everyone vulnerable and it’s been beautiful to watch in what has become a cold world. Your reactions have been heartfelt and beautiful. Ever since I found Ren since the premiere of Hi Ren I've made great strides in my mental health. The man gave me a way to look differently upon myself and my past struggles. It's because of him I truly understand what it the phrase "It's ok to not be ok." means. The man truly saved my life. I'm glad he's able to help people this way because pills and therapy were not it for me.

I really want to know what makeup products you use because you consistently still look fabulous even crying! I would look like a racoon as soon as a single tear fell!
It takes practice to stop apologizing for existing, I still do it and I'm in my 30's, but GO YOU for catching yourself. I find it refreshing when I see I'm not the only one who gets emotional over Ren's music, I keep tissues by me every time I am going to listen to a new Ren song. It's kind of one of his superpowers and I'm finding Chinchilla has the same effect on me.
Stay strong and keep kicking ass girl! You are becoming a gothic ray of sunshine in my life and I need that right now, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!

41 yr old blue collar worker. Much of Rens work is cathartic and every time I watch Im bound to tear up.
Some of the most unexpected (to me) reactors have become my favorite Ren reactors because we can all see that his music truly speaks to you as it does us. After all, none of us want to be alone with these kinds of emotions.
I suggest Crutch by Ren ft Bibi. but be prepared, it seems to be a very tough time in Ren's life, capturing the desperation in his spiral down his misdiagnosed path.
I watch so many REN reactions because the human connection of crying honestly and vulnerably with someone else is something that I really need right now. Thank you.

Thank you for keeping it real, sometimes even badass demon slayers need to cry, never feel bad for being able to show emotion that is a strength in itself and it is something the world needs so much more of. Ash, I know the EXACT feeling you're sharing about not knowing how to express yourself, along with how Ren is breaking you open and feel feelings. I'm so happy for you.
This reaction made me want to hug you. And I can tell that those songs are helping you open up a little bit more and more. They are really cathartic and help us all cope with our own struggles. Ren did it for me many times now and was able to channel my bottled up feelings from the inside once again, let them all out. It was wonderful to be able to do that again and no pill and no therapist could have done that better. It is about facing your own struggles and not constantly just running away from them, because they always will get to you eventually. So facing them head on, go through it and get healthier in the process is so vital for our own evolution as a person. Long story short: Once again I am grateful that you let us be a part of your emotional world, it is not taken for granted, it never should be.
Can I take this a step further? His music & the reaction channels that are really promoting him have really opened up communities of people who are so willing to share their own stories & who are all trying to lift each other up... It's a beautiful thing! ❤

I think some of the communities were already formed probably thanks to the pandemic, but a lot more have popped up recently that are just about being there for each other, sharing the good and the bad, and many of them are because Ren encourages that openness. I subbed to your twitch the other day and told you that your Ren reactions drove me there. Isn't it amazing that we have this little community here of so many different people from so many different walks of life and so many different viewpoints but we can all come together and relate to something this beautiful. Thank you for being okay showing your vulnerability. It allows others to feel the same emotions, and sometimes isn't that what we're after? A way to let these feelings out? I can never thank Ren enough for the sountrack he's given the world. I get so fucking proud of the guy. And you know what, you're creating too. So I'm also so fucking proud of you. I heard a wise man once use the expression, "kicking down doors and punching demons in the throat". Ren is therapy for so many from one song he helps so many people open up in ways therapists struggle to do in person. This song is beautiful and they sing so well together Chinchilla sounds like Pink in certain parts great tune

It’s so beautiful to see someone so raw on CZcams. Many hide their emotions cos they don’t want to be judged, but seeing you really feel the music and allowing it to come out in your tears is a beautiful thing to see. I’m not saying I enjoy seeing people cry, that’s not what I’m saying at all. I’m saying it’s nice to see someone real. I have struggled with depression and anxiety for many years now and it is the worst thing to try and cope with. But knowing I’m not alone by watching your reactions is comforting x

"I didn't realize I needed to cry." Wow, I hope you realize that is incredible insight about yourself. We tend to stuff our emotions away into a hidden place so no one can see them. Well we are here on this planet to have a human experience and FEEL everything as part of soul growth and releasing past traumas. When we stumble across A Ren song with raw human emotion we get triggered and stuff bubbles up. This is a great thing and so beneficial for our work and connection with our true self. ❤

I have many of the same health issues as Ren so I relate to so much of what he does. This is one of my favorite ones. I’m new to really watching CZcams and reaction videos but I’ve enjoyed it because I feel less alone in the way I relate to music and use it to get through bad health days, either physical or mental. I saw in this video you said at the beginning you appreciate having 7,000 subscribers and now I think you’re over 20,000 (plus 1 more….me). I usually watch 3 reactions before hitting the sub button but I hit yours in 2. I like “real” people and real reactions and not the ones going for numbers and all of that. I appreciate your videos I’ve seen so far and look forward to more as I go deeper into music reactions. Ren is definitely one of those that I’ve watched sooooooo many reactions to and I appreciate that you keep your emotions real and don’t downplay how powerfully a song can move people. ❤

Amazing reaction Ash just like you said music is way to express ourselves and its like a virtual hug. When Ren says "little by little bit by bit I push it back down with a new habit..." it always reminds me that I used to push everything I had going in life and in my head by creating a new habit or addiction i uses to smoke a lot of cigarettes and vapes. Then I moved on to alcohol and that's when everything got worse because it's a bad habit a bad addiction. I actually found out from my grandparents that addictions run in my family. Even when I stop all of it and I fight it off. I somehow end up drinking or smoking again. I keep pushing it down with a new habit.
That is SO hauntingly beautiful! It amazes me how good music can tear at our emotions. No need to apologize for anything. Real emotion from real music.

You remind me so much of my friends out here in the New York hardcore, metal and punk scene. A beautiful human with a heart of gold that isn't afraid to be who you are and show us your vulnerable side. I can only speak for myself when I say that's what drew me in to you and your channel and I truly respect and appreciate you for being real, open and honest. It's so easy to fake being happy and edit out your tears and keep your struggles to yourself.

We're all trying to figure out this existence we were thrown into without our permission on a spinning ball of mud that's floating through space.
There's been so many times my PTSD from the trauma of being an 8 year old boy and nearly being raped in fvxking Disney World of all places and the trauma of my time in the military and my wife dying that I have nearly given up. But for some reason I'm still here. I'm trying to figure out why but here I am too stubborn to end it but struggling to make it. If it wasn't for my band and all the shows we play, and my brothers who have been there with me through it all I would have most definitely eaten a bullet by now. Plus I'm Irish and a Taurus so im too stubborn to give up lol.
So seriously thank you for being you, being real, and showing others that they're not alone and that we all struggle.
P.S. I was on Paxil years ago and I had to get off it. Gave me serious brain zaps and made me more suicidal than I already was.

Don't be sorry to show your emotions. I have been pushing mine down for the last 15-20 (I'm 42 now) years and seeing people showing their emotions like you are has become my therapy... It's has helped me be better to actual show and lett my emotions through. Dont you ever change, just be yourself and keep upp the good work!

Ren touches so many of us, especially those of us living with mental health issues. It's ok to cry. I do it a lot. I do it every time I hear one of Ren's songs.
It shows we are in touch with our emotions. It shows we do care, especially about what matters.
It's ok to take that medication to help us. If you cut your finger, you put a plaster on it. So think of those tablets as a bandaid for the mind.
You are strong. You are a good person.

Never apologize for being who you are and what you’re going through or have dealt with. Ren is such a powerful artist, he has the courage to express himself despite everything he’s gone through. This song got to me too. As a Psych RN the message hits home for me on the flip side because I try to help people like Ren. It’s not easy when you’re fighting against a system that’s designed to make money instead of help people. We are all human beings just trying to get through the day. Ren is doing a great job of helping bring people together. We all doubt ourselves and have that voice inside our heads like he expressed in “Hi Ren” and it’s hard to get through this life just ignoring it. Be strong and remember that we all struggle and suffer but we can all get through this together.
This one is powerful. Their voices together blend so well. And his ability to do these videos live is unreal. So much talent!
Ren’s music has the ability to tap into deep emotions. I’m glad his music is helping you process. Don’t apologize for being real and showing the impact of the music.

I've come to understand that sometimes you need to cry, but that you can cry for yourself, or you can cry with empathy. Ren just drags the pain out of you and lays it bare. Hes broken me so many times but each time i come out a better person.

This was my first seeing your reaction and you touched my soul. This was not my first viewing of Ren and Chinchilla feeling Chalk Outlines. My first had me with tears pouring down my face and soon blubbering and crying even harder, more and more tears. The raw emotion, a meeting of souls through music. I felt this in watching your reaction. ❤
I dont think this man know how much hes changed my life, i was in a very dark place since i was 6 from truma/abuse and planning the end (now 29) and when i frist saw "hi ren" it hit me so hard. that few months ago i started to go see a therapist and started to feel alittle hope, i dont think he will know how much his words meant to me and my own struggles
when am feeling like sinking back into that dark place, i come find his songs and see other peoples reactions to know am not alone in what i feel.

What makes you my favorite reactor to music is your deep genuine connection to the lyrics. I react the same way and it feels so good to share a moment with someone. Words are just one way to express yourself there are many others. Your facial expressions when I have seen you watch Ren's videos clearly express your feelings etc without the need for words. Remember those that care about you as a person will be able to fully understand you and believe in you however you find the way to express your feelings.
The numbness of anti depressants gives you an escape but disconnects you from yourself.They depicted it perfectly,I’ve been on anti depressants,but I’d rather suffer and struggle than walk around numb and alone

This song is on the same level as Hi Ren. As an empathetic person that struggles(suffers) with depression, I feel his personal take on mental health, and sometimes we all need to cry. Never be ashamed of the tears you shed. We all must try to keep the darkness away as long as possible. ✌💚🇨🇦⛰
You are a beautiful strong woman and there is nothing wrong with expressing emotions. Ren is amazing at connecting people with their inner emotions and troubles, this is why so many of us love him, he is real and bares his soul to the world in such a heartfelt and genuine manner.

Im not ok.... I havent been for a long time.
I struggle on a daily basis with my inadedquasies, my doubts, my 'black dog days'.....
And much as i knew i wasnt alone, that others struggled it didnt hit home until the last month or so since i discovered Rens art.
Yes, theres been artists write songs about their inner struggles, but none with the power that Ren does.
"Chalk outlines" is one amazing piece of art. From the very moment he starts singing, i well up
Because i know that feeling of waking up, hoping against hope that i am a differant person, that for one day i can be someone other than the car wreck i am daily.
Ive taken a wde selection of meds to keep me afloat, and other 'drugs' that arent prescribed to put that smile on my face.
And when Chinchilla starts to sing, the floodgates open. Its such a beautiful somg about the saddest of subjects, but everytime i hear it, which has become a daily thing, after the tears have finished and ive caught my breath i feel a little better prepared to face the world.
