The Panama canal goes way back in time, and is a concept that has been considered by numerous nations. France was the country to start what we know today as the Panama canal. However, the project was abandoned. The United States acquired the canal from France, however the local government was uncooperative. The United States struck a deal with the rebellious state of Panama. If they secured their independence, the US would be granted the panama canal zone. With the display of the US's fleet, Panama was secured from Colombia.

It's a shame that many people watching fail to truly appreciate this. I must say that you've come a long way, your art keeps on improving. From the background art, to the different personalities the characters have thanks to your writing. There's a lot that goes into making these types of videos. And I have to give you recognition for all the hard work. I enjoyed California's stereotypes, in 3:54 you can see one of the many references Koral adds in. In this case to add up to California's personality of a stoner.I love it! And I'm glad you're slowly introducing more mature references, though I understand one has to appease CZcams to avoid demonetization.
