It’s because this song has parts in 6/8 time which is a whole other beast when it comes to music and it sounds amazing when it’s played right, there’s also parts in 4/4 with triplets
Edit: I’m not actually sure if it has parts in 6/8 it just sounds like it does to me, correct me if I’m wrong

"Buoy Base Galaxy" is such an underrated gem of the Super Mario games' music. The fact that there's only one main star and one bonus star to get in the whole galaxy, and that the music doesn't play anywhere else, is mind-boggling. Why would you write such a great piece for a stage that you'll play on for five minutes?!
At least it returned in Galaxy 2 (if I remember correctly) (or was it just the stage?)

Nintendo sometimes does that... Make an amazing song and then only use it like once ^o^;
I suck at the swimming controls so I would take years to beat the level.

My family got our Wii.
I was 3 at the time, easy to please and distract.
Galaxy is the first game I remember watching my family play.
As a young child, I was in over my head, mesmerized at how beautiful it was.
As I grew, as did both my knowledge of music, games, and overall love for galaxy.
This game has been with me since I can remember.
Through the thick, through the thin.
Galaxy is and was always there for me.
As my musical career advanced, I became very attached to this piece, it had been a pipe dream of mine to see it performed live, but it was practically impossible.
Galaxy has been a substantial part of my life, as has the OST of Buoy Base.
I've been waiting for this moment since I came across this channel.
