    I made this capelet from Mandala Watercolors yarn, which is.weight 5, and it turned out great. I'm wearing it over my pj's right now and it's warm. It's really too big but I like that it overlaps in front. I used a size L hook and loose tension, and chained 50 stitches. Thanks for uploading. I can't find the pattern on Lion's website, but you explained it very well. I'm going to try to make it with Homespun Thick and Quick, although it may be like trying to crochet blindfolded!
