That is so cool that at 10 yrs old, you are doing this ! I was taught by my Gramma and Great Gramma and am an old Mama myslef now at 53 and still love it! It always makes me think of them and the person I am making things for while I am knitting or crocheting. It is a great way to relax, and makes you proud when you finish and can use, or see others loving and enjoying things you make. It's a great feeling. I wish you many, many years of enjoying things like this, as this already makes you a very special and unique young lady. May God bless and watch over you always swetheart ! I really love these tutorials too. Have you seen Allison from Ireland? People send her boxes of yarn and she has a little dachsund. She gets so thrilled everytime she gets a box from a fan. Its a lot of fun. This lady is really awesome. I love that she still has the blankets her Gramma made for her and her family. They will all be treasures from you someday too 🧡🙏
Beautiful! It makes sense that it's so much wider at the bottom end/outside edge. Each 7 row repeat is actually 10 rows at the bottom and 4 at the top. Thank you :)
Thank you so much for making this. I have been wanting to make this capelet for years now. And I especially love that you made it crocheted. I love all your videos so much!! Thank you 😊💓
I can't believe how beautiful that capelet turned out to be. I love it Do you think you can also make a tutorial of Claire's capelet in the future as well? That would be wonderful. Thanks again 💜💜💜
Hi Anja! This Brianna Capelet is so pretty. My list of upcoming projects is getting longer each time you put out a new tutorial. Lol! Thank you so much! 🧶❤️ Chris
Love this pattern. Very easy to follow the video. I've made 2 so far. I used 2 #5 yarn strands together (Caron Swirl Cakes). It used not quite 2 cakes. Thank you! would love more Outlander patterns, too!
Very close to finishing this Capelet ☺️ . I am gifting it to my dear Welsh friend as the style she will love and l am so pleased and l have really enjoyed making it . I did buy the pattern as a back up . Thank you . These tutorials are so very clear and explained beautify . 👍🏻
I have been watching Outlander starting with season one. As I watch, I crochet. I have two (one is your tutorial) shawls and some fingerless gloves. It would make a fabulous show. Watch and Crochet.
Love this idea! Love the capelet. 😊 but there are so many steps to completing it that I can tell I will have to go back to the gudeo many times, as a woman in my mid sixties I tend to forget easily even tho the whole capelet is repeating the steps I still forget, I dont retain it and have to go back to the video. That's the only part about this I dont like...but I want to make this so I will just keep going. Thanks for the tutorial...Your capelet is lovely. ❤
@@OpheliaTalks thank you anja for the encouragement! 😊 I think I am figuring some things out with the making of this. You have a wonderful gift of creating patterns and I thank you! God bless! ❤
Oh boy it looks daunting to me. Haven’t quite understood the instructions completely. I’ll play back the video as many times necessary, I was going to make the shawl, then... I saw this!!😂
I am in 7th heaven to be crocheting an Ophelia Talks pattern... Brianna's capelet (Outlander is one of my most favorite series) in my favorite yarn.. Stylecraft and with my HiyaHiya hook. Doesn't get much better than this! Think the cherry on the cake would be to make Claire's as well like one of the subscribers suggested. Ps: Doing my Brianna capelet in Stylecraft Batik Swirl - Foxglove. Thank you so much for this tutorial Anja, I am enjoying in tremendously! xx
I'm so glad you did this tutorial, l love all the knitted shawls etc that she wore on Outlander . I like to start with a row of foundation sc could you please tell me how many l need to start.🥰🥰😗
I'm curently working on this Capelet (bought the written pattern) and it really is gorgeous! Thanks so much for the video ! But I'm finding that 30 cm migth be slightly too short for me. Can i just start over with a longer base or will it mess with the entire patttern?
Love the colors! Thank you for making this child friendly as I am only 10 😊. But the caplet is beautiful and so is the lovely lady that crocheted it.

Really amazing 😍
Thanks a lot 😊
I really like!! 😍😍
There are about six or so more that you can wrap your yarn 🧶 and hook around 💚. The season is right around the corner 🌬❄☃️🌨💚🥰
I'm so glad you did this tutorial, l love all the knitted shawls etc that she wore on Outlander . I like to start with a row of foundation sc could you please tell me how many l need to start.🥰🥰😗
You need 30 stitches ...
Also I have the same tape measure 🙂

So pretty! I imagine it would be much easier to just use chunky yarn. The four strands really complicate things.
Very possibly, but I had the yarn, and I wanted this colour way....Anja x
Good morning, this capelets is so beautiful. I'm making one now, wanted to ask how would I go about making it longer?
Thank your
I'm not sure if you mean deeper, or longer around Lucy!! Anja x
@@OpheliaTalks Deeper, the around is good. Thank you
