I'm from Jordan, and the milk version of this is a really popular dessert i grew up eating here, it hits the spot like nothing else after breakfast, I've never heard of one without milk before, but the dessert i grew up eating, it's like milk was carrying the whole thing for me, it's my 3rd favorite dessert afyer my top 2 being cheese qatayef ( let me know if i pronounced it correctly) and the top 1 being knafeh ( Na3eem)
