    Down to earth time saving advice 😊. I was always wondered how some clients expects you to get paid $5 for something that takes an hour or more. It's breaks minimum wage laws where I live. Really unsustainable ,devaluing, soul-destroying and definitely a big red flag. Thank you for this making this video.

      You're welcome! There are just too many people out there wanting cheap labor, and then too many people willing to do it - especially in the competitive fashion industry. I'm glad you're standing up for yourself!

    i'm a pattern maker and i'm using CAD programs like Accumark Gerber; can I find a job by just it.

    What if you are a full time Fashion designer, who has been making your own collections for the last 10 years and now someone contacts you to make similar kind of piece but in print to sell to a bigger market , can I ask for a percentage instead of a steady cost for the designs I made?
