Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

Fernando checking out the inside of the water tank while you were working on it was a comedy moment in the making but his instincts kicked in and he high tailed it out of the tank at the last minute, lol. He is too funny and really makes me think of the old saying about curiosity and cats. He and Sweet Pea are always up to something! 🤣💜
Great job with the goat water. What you described about the shaded area sounds perfect. They are lucky goats. I love goats (all animals really). I used to have a couple of milking goats and they are wonderful animals. 😊
First, I want to say that I enjoy watching your videos, it was sad to see the place get burned and flooded before you and Bee moved in, but I do know that given time the two of you will get back to where it once was. Great job Theo tank, you know if you can find some kind of heavy black covering for that white tank it will help to keep the algae from growing on the inside. One of my brothers here in West Virginia has a spring feed white tank that supplies water to the house, and he was having problems with algae until he covered it with a heavy black cover, just my thought! You can always put a mesh tarp from the top of the horse box to the green fence in front of their trough. That way their water will stay cooler, less algae and keep part of the horse box cooler too. 👍

Theo, right now I at taking care of my mother on hospice, full time, so I do not have extra money to spend right now. However, I do have time....lots of time.... I am going to go to some of your older videos and watch ALL the ads, straight through! I know it's not a lot, but I can do different things and just let your videos play...all day! Hope more see this and can help in this way too if they can. Just sending love, to you and Bee, and what little support I can!

Well, I'm happy Bea is able to celebrate with her family!! I wish we could get the Eurovision song contest coverage here in the US. My cousin in Ireland was in the Eurovision a number of years ago! You should invest in a compression power washer. I think it would be beneficial on the property. You can use it to edge or even remove soil from tight places, aside from the regular uses.

You need a power washer to get rid if that dried up algae within those tanks. It depends on the breed of goats you have. Some are aggressive but most are chilled.

Shade the area around the tank. Install a top lid. Avoid debris, minimize algae and stays cool longer.

hi theo, regards to the goats troff with cleaning, use a in door fish tank hand net for catching dirt.......
I would paint the goat's big tank black....to keep any algae from growing inside the tank. Then I'd paint it white ....on top of the black....to help keep the tank cool. The two coats of paint should insure total darkness in the tank.
Hi. I know you have had a tough time growing up with your health etc but I want to say you are one of the most amazing guys I have ever seen. I have followed you since day one with your original property and have to say you both performed miracles. You can put your hand to anything. As we in Australia would say “glad to know you. You are great mate, so come have a beer with us”. Quite the wrestling match there for a minute, that water tank was like a dog that didn’t want a bath! Looks like ground / soil is getting good coverage. Fernando and the goats did a awesome job supervising you while Bee is enjoying Eurovision. That’s a massive amount of pipe!
Oh Theo, when you use the saw to cut pipe resting on your leg. I hold my breath every time thinking you are going to hurt yourself. Please be careful, especially when Bee is not around to look after you! 😬😅
