I think this is part of my problem. I've had girls say I was intimidating, but never meant to be.
I had an experience where unknowingly I made this girl I like feel intimidated never talked to her since and feel bad about it from time to time.

I'm not sure how I could be intimidating. I'm goofy, awkward, I open doors, bring flowers fairly regularly offer my coat on cold nights, walk on the street side of the sidewalk, bring breakfast in bed, do dishes without being asked, cleaning and laundry without being asked either. Men just want to be appreciated.
If you have a decent body and face, then of course you will be intimidating.

Those are signs that she is not interested. Girls are not intimidated if they like you. If they are intimidated it's because you creep her out or disgust her in some way. If a girl is not overly eager to talk to you or be close to you no matter how confident and shy she is, she is just not interested. When talking to girls, always assume they are not interested, because 90% of the cases they are just not.

Women are intimidated by men they're really attracted to, men can be the same way with a super hot woman.
There are 2 ways of intimidation, the first, she is not attracted towards you and has all the closed bodylanguage described in the vid. Imagine you were a homeless, that's the behaviour she would give you and the 2 ways she is intimidated in a nervous fidgety way because people get uncomfortable when they are in the present of a person they are attracted to, so she is intimidated in a shy and insicure way which is good, imagine she is a subordinate and she talks to the CEO of the company.

really late but just in case, i came here to say that in my opinion, no. you have to make her be sure that she is safe with you when she’s being herself. if she looks to get out of the situation she’s in, she’s quite scared and that’s really bad (i mean i feel like if you care about her, you wouldn’t want her to feel afraid).
if you felt vulnerable against your will near somebody, you’ll try to get away and be careful too. but if you notice that the person doesn’t want to use you, manipulate you or hurt you in general but is actually nice from the inside and out, you’ll feel safe to open up about yourself (platonically or romantically). that’s how romantic relations work too.
the good thing is if she feels safe around you, just like you feel safe with her.

well seems as if a woman is intimidated by a man. she has a lot of inner work to do with her self.
Aaaaactually, she would have more of an alarm system similar to a spider sense, rather than a bat signal. She would use a bat signal to request help from current danger, while a spider sense would be scanning for threats or red flags.
