    Trust us when we say that stretching isn't enough! Yes, it's helpful to manage symptoms in the beginning and does play a role in rehab for plantar fasciitis but to really take care of your symptoms, you need to strengthen! That is because plantar fasciitis is a result of placing a tissue through a load that it is not quite ready to handle. So in order to best prepare that tissue to handle the load, we need to strengthen it. Join Adelle as she takes you through some of our favorite strengthening based exercises to tackle that plantar fasciitis once and for all.
    To really strengthen up that foot and load it how you need to, check out our Foot and Ankle Prehab program through the app!

    This video has the title "exercises for plantar fasciitis", but exercises are barely shown and no detailed exercise instructions are provided. Honestly, I don't understand why.

      So fast and so many verbal instructions but no detailed exercises shown.

      It's quite simply an AD for their subscription program. You're not supposed to be able to learn to do everything in this video because then you wouldn't pay to use their services.

    I'm a nurse & can understand all this info. However, respectfully, you spoke & went through all this WAY, WAY too fast. I will re-watch this many times to get it all. Thank you.

    Which program do I do, Foot and Ankle Prehab or Achilles Tendon Prehab? The video had the Achilles Tendon Prehab but the write up had the Foot and Ankle Prehab. Please clarify. Thanks!

      Hey Nancy! Thanks for reaching out - this is somewhat dependent on your symptoms. If dealing with more severe symptoms we recommend the Foot and Ankle program. If symptoms are more manageable, check out the Achilles program. Hope that helps! You can get started through the app bit.ly/tryprehabYT

    Heyy thank you for the interesting video! Do you recommend training on bare feet? And do you recommend using anti-pronation soles for pes planus feet to reduce load on the plantar fascia?

    • @ThePrehabGuys
      @ThePrehabGuys  Před 4 měsíci

      If training on bare feet can be well tolerated, not a bad idea! But if new to this, progress into it slowly.

    How do I avoid cramping while doing this?

    • @ThePrehabGuys
      @ThePrehabGuys  Před dnem

      Cramping can be a sign of fatigue so try less reps/less time to start and progress as your tolerance improves!

      Not our intention at all! Goal is to show you some helpful exercises to perform and education on the diagnosis! Simply trying to highlight how comprehensive our programming is as the exercises demonstrated are a small part of what needs to be done!

      @@ThePrehabGuys If that was the case, you would show the exercises properly, you would give proper instructions on how to do the exercises safely, and you wouldn't be directing people to your subscription service. And the instructors wouldn't be talking so fast in the vids.
      Also - fire the video editor. All that damn camera switching hurt my head. It's entirely unnecessary. For people to FOCUS on what is being said, they need for the person being interviewed to be the focus - not 'what the hell is going on with multiple camera angle cuts'.

      @@hellfirepictures I strongly agree. I'm a health pro, yet I could not begin to keep up with the lady talking at light speed + all the changes going on in the video. I think they meant well, but wow.. My new "podiatrist" only gave me a few exercises & new insoles (not real orthotics) with a flimsy metatarsal lift pad stuck onto each insole. It's been a week since I saw him & NOW, I'm UNABLE TO BEAR ANY WEIGHT AT ALL on my L foot. It's very frightening, frustrating & intensely painful. I'm going to have to find some crutches today & then make an appointment to see a DIFFERENT Podiatrist ASAP next week when their offices are open again.
