Hi! Can you pair 2 tap+chip reader with 1 iPad? Ie: We're doing a pop-up shop with 2 people roaming with tap+chip readers but connected to 1 iPad for checkout table?

Hey there, thanks for watching. That is a great question! You can have more than one card reader connected to your Shopify POS system. With that being said, we do recommend connecting your second card reader to a separate device that the first one is connected to. This would be best to avoid any connection issues that may occur when more than one card reader is connected to the same device. Let us know what you think.

@@ShopifyHelpCenter I see- So if I want 2 tap and chip devices for 2 separate checkout tables (or with 2 customer service employees) roaming at a pop-up, we would need 2 ipads one paired for each tap+chip device? Thanks!

And/or 1 ipad paired with tap+chip reader AND 1 iPhone paired with 2nd tap+chip reader? And all connected to 1 shopify pos app that's connected to (1) our same shopify online store?

@@ShopifyHelpCenter I have your older White "Chip & Swipe Reader" can I still use that to take payment or is it outdated? OR A combination at the pop-up of... Older Chip+Swipe reader paired with iPhone 11 Pro AND your new black tap+chip reader paired with newer iPad, at the same time, at the same pop up and same online store/POS account?
