The house near Eldora iowa used to be a bed and breakfast and the old couple who owned it then filed bankruptcy and moved new owner Is a cool guy but now it's private property, so can't just drive up to it any more, he's painted it and added a addition to it, I live in iowa and been here many times, there a twister park in Eldora,Iowa and it's pretty cool has a cow and tornado on the side of the structure made out of wood. The farm on the curve as u leave y Ave toward Eldora has the old sign for the house used to be a B&B and campground, and etc, so cool they picked iowa to film, idk if you knew this back when my parents took us to the house bills truck was outback, and they would cut a path in the corn were the f5 cut through but that all ended many years ago when couple files bankruptcy built a house down the road. 😁
Loved the movie and your tour! There is a house in kansas on hwy 149 going to white city. This house is pink but looks just like the one in the very last scene where they kiss!!! I took a picture of it and commented on it making people ask where it was!
At 19:35 the gravel farm driveway on the left is where they come from with the helicopter footage as they pan off of everyone else and then focus on Paxtons Ram on that bridge
I got a buddy who grew up in Rippey and was there while they were filming. He showed me this spot ten some years ago. I'm glad someone finally made a video of these places. 🫡😁
The “left, right, left Debris scene was in Hickory grove park. And the bridge is in Cambridge if you come down S. Vine St. then turn on 320th st. It is near a company called Insulation Contractor Services
Hey there! Happy to help out! I live about 5 minutes away from Twister Hill! It is just northwest of Boone or straight east of Pilot Mound! They filmed it on the bridge of the Des Moines river!
Almost all the movie was filmed in Oklahoma. The ones I know are in Iowa: The heart to heart between Bill and Jo at the second tornado they tried to release in, The truss bridge where they refill the modified sensors, and the ending with the farm house.
Are all the locations in Oklahoma very close to eachother......and also...where was the house location from the beginning of the movie....the house at the beginning
They’re not super close but are easily doable. Stay in Ponca City for a night and you can visit them all in a day and a half. The house location at the beginning (Jo’s childhood home) is in Wakita only a few miles from the center of town. All that’s left there now is the silo. I’ve toured all the Oklahoma filming locations a couple of times!

The dodge was pulled by a 18 wheeler with a ice machine that shot out hail
Actually they paid college students to hammer the trucks to make it look like hail dents

@@80AM. I believe they mean the small two span Warren pony truss bridge that is at 2:07 in the video. That is where they refilled the Dorothy units.
