I believe Kawhi, and disagree with the media jumping to conclusions that he's done in SA. I had (double) abdominal hernia repair surgery and was told I was cleared to go back to heavy lifting and physical activities after 6 weeks....here I am nearly a year post-surgery and I've just NOW gotten back to lifting while still not feeling quite at 100%; maybe 90%. My point is no matter how educated you are, and how many years you've studied the body - you don't know how long it takes to be 100% until you've gone through it for yourself.

It's not even a matter of "going through it yourself", it's more that everyone's body is different and recovery time is an estimate based on averages. For whatever reason, his quad is talking longer to heal.

Kawhi has to be hurt somewhat.. i refuse to believe that he is a guy who will play mind games with a whole organization, esp. when that organization happens to be one of the best, if not the best in the business.
i dont know, its harder to believe an individual i dont have a big history with over an organisation that has proven over years of time to put the player health first.

Yonis Ali - the info that came out. He was cleared by doctors, Kawhi still has pain and is not ready. People are focusing on the doctors clearing and making assumptions about the organization. Spurs haven't said anything, Kawhi hasn't. At this point, it's all assumptions.
At the end of the day, Kawhi feels like he still has something lingering despite what the doctors say. So I can see why he is very cautious. Hopefully this isn't a career altering injury. I still remember the BS Bulls did to Luol Deng. Man almost died for their playoff runs.

They're handling this situation terribly, both for the team and Kawhi. The Spurs have lost Kawhi, now they don't have their 26 year old two-way franchise player anymore to build a team around, they also won't be able to trade him for a very good price with the question marks about his injury. And for Kawhi, the man was considered as a top 3-4 player in the league; and now he has disappeared. Nobody even knows whether it's from an injury or not.
