    • @nathanbunyon7642
      @nathanbunyon7642 Před 6 lety +17

      nba 2kking lebrons rookie season had way more pressure placed on it and he was infinitely better as a rookie on a worse team. You can’t say (skip says) “he has had the highest degree of difficulty” when bron literally was called the chosen one from the very being. If bron in his rookie year played like Lonzo has played it would have been called an F.

The shooting will improve. This is his first season. This is coming from a Celtics fan. Give the kid another year or so. He'll be fine.

      @BDFfortyfour Před 6 lety +1

      LoveMusicVideoArt False. If you're drafting players for just one year then yes your argument makes sense. But that's not what teams are drafting for. It's about the upside of a player. Being picked second doesn't mean that a player should be expected to play well out the gate. Conditioning, off the court adjustments, team role and alot of other things play into how a rookie looks out there. It takes time!

      MURRAY RHYMES WITH CURRY Yeah D is a bit harsh but he's been far from great. He has no midrange game and only has floaters and 3pt shot (which he shoots 30% from) in his scoring arsenal. He plays with little aggression, his off the ball movement is TERRIBLE (he just stands in the corner). And yeah when you FT% is lower than most centers that doesn't help either.

    He’s a solid B-... he can’t shoot but he contributes. Just bc he isn’t the best in his class doesn’t mean he can’t improve... also has an all around game better than most rookies when we KNEW he wasn’t going to be

  • @D_Nasty68

    First of all you got to realize that he's a rookie and he already got the pressure on his back because of his father overall I give him a c because he's very versatile he can get rebounds and he can pass the ball he just needs to improve his shooting he'll be all right

    -Makes his team better and ok numbers

    All in all a pretty good rookie year obviously could be better. Hopefully improves those percentages in the second half of the season and stays healthy.

    Once the season is over, the next stage of his career truly begins. He needs to get various expert trainers to come and help him reconstruct his shooting form and jump-shot, strengthen his entire body, improve his cardio and energy, tighten his handles, develop hesitation moves, and work like mad on improving his athleticism and explosion. Also needs to make his arms and legs really much stronger. Also needs to improve his left hand/arm. He’s got his work cut out.

    I'd give him a C. He going to be a project for LA. It's important to note that he is just a rookie, he's going to need time to grow and develop. He has potential to be a really good player but I don't think it's going to be overnight. He's not the player he was hyped to be, not yet. But he's also not that bad either. Give him 2-3 seasons and I think he'll be good.

    Lol “you look at shaq, you look at Jordan with the third pick in the draft” the guys mentioning all time greats and only listed 2 guys and the list stopped. 10, 7 & 7 first season is pretty solid. I thought he was gonna be a rondo type player and that’s exactly how he’s been playing, if he stays at that level he’ll have a solid nba career as a starting pg. he’s a point guard, what’s he expecting from him? 20+ ppg? That’s his game? Assists, triple doubles, play making and if you can get over 15 ppg from him than it’s a bonus. How are you gonna compare him to Jordan or shaq when those guys biggest strength were ppg and scoring. Sharpes an idiot

    • @iRuckiz
      @iRuckiz Před 6 lety +2

      its not about him being 10-7-7, thats alright but its being outweighed by the fact that hes a point guard who can't put the ball in the basket. Literally the worst shooter in the nba and how does a PG have worse FT% than shaq. When your starting point guard has to be subbed out of 4th quarters because hes an offensive liability you know you have an issue.

    • @SwiperNoSwiping458
      @SwiperNoSwiping458 Před 6 lety

      Ok here's my argument why he's not a B-. He's not a D but he's definitely not a B-.
