"When the party's over" gives me goosebumps every single time I hear her sing it. Her control is insane and how she transitions is ethereal.
And her voice Is so full and gorgeous that you don't even realize its acapella!!!

I used to listen to her songs as a teen. Loved her disney song "looking through your eyes" but I didn't recognize her voice here at all.

That song at the last confirmed who it was for me and mom. We've both listened to her since she was a kid. That yodel in her voice is unmistakable after listening to her sing Blue for so many years.
As soon as she sung The Story " I was made for YOU" I knew immediately who she was. That twang a give away. Her voice is even better, more mature and so smooth now even more then when she first made hit records as a teenager.
That song (Kesha - Praying) was a comeback track after she had been severely mistreated and basically held captive as an artist by her label, and harassed by one top exec in particular. It is definitely worth a listen....

Rhimes is an exceptional singer. Her voice changes in every song.
As soon as heard her sing Praying, I said LeAnn Rimes. Then she sang the cover of Piece Of My Heart and that confirmed it. Strong voice.
And the Mickey Ears stand for Disney she sang for a fireworkshow the song ,,remember when" I think it was 2004 and the Frozen part stands for Musical she sang the Song ,,For good" from the Musical Wicked
The country yodel and twang at the end of her phrases was my clue. She's been known for the yodel since she was young. I think she deserved to win because every performance was flawless and beautiful.

Fun Fact: The reason The Sun looks so "jittery" is because the actor was portraying a character. The sun is full of energy so she kept moving around with lots of "energy"

I knew it was her fairly early on because she was my childhood karaoke go-to. The Christmas show cinched it for me. LAR has a voice that is beyond iconic. She is amazing.
My husband got to meet Leann Rimes years ago when she sang at a National Home Builders Association Banquet. At the time my father in law was the President of the Local and National Home Builders Association.
I know Billi Iilish is super talented, and she can really sing... but I've never been a fan of the breathy style that she has adopted. that makes it almost impossible for me to listen to any of her songs. but I fell in love with her song when Leanne sang it. OMG what a wonderful performance/song!!!
Thank you for including the words/lyrics. I couldn't make out what she singing with 'The Story' by Brandi Carlile with other videos out there. This makes a HUGE difference, and I love the performance so much more. The song lyrics are so good.
43:39 of fun! Thank you so much Billy. Leann's performances were out of this world. She is at the top of her game right now and we are so lucky to listen to her sing to us. Leann is now in her 30's and, of course, she has been given a gift, but she has also developed and protected her voice through the years. In today's world we are flooded with many young artists who show a lot of potential but will they put in the time to sing beautifully as their voices mature as Leann has.
Let's make a statement which cannot be denied. Leann Rimes should be recognized as one of the greatest singers ever to come out of the USA. As most fans know the song 'Blue' was written for the late and great Patsy Cline. But tragedy showed it's ugly face and the song was instead given to a 13 year old girl to sing it and, of course, the rest is history. 'Blue' is one of the greatest songs ever and every time you listen to it, it's like the first time you have heard it.
And, all of us wish peace and happiness for Leann and we will always be with her to urge her on to do what she loves to do.
I think sometimes performances probably sound different in person than hearing it over the tv.

Took my daughter to see her in Kansas City when she (my daughter) was 14 - around LeAnn's age. She opened for Allan Jackson. LeAnn was fabulous. I am a fan to this day.

You should react to Billie's music video of this song. She and her brother wrote this song, and in interviews she said it was the only song that they submitted off this album that didn’t come back with any kind of critique. It’s hauntingly beautiful

This was shot during the Covid lockdown. The audience you see are reaction cuts from past shows. There was no audience present the entire season 4 taping. If you noticed, the judges are spread apart to comply with Covid distancing. They are shot at an angle to appear closer to each other. Also, the host keeps a strict distance from the singers as well. The producers did a good job matching past audience reactions to the current songs. Although, once you're aware that there's no audience it's easier to spot the fakery.

There was no live audience for this season. Apparently all the audience clips were from previous seasons

No it’s not bad but I think she killed everyone who was in the finals but if seahorse and serpent made it to the finals she might’ve gotten third
FAKE TEARS are always the worst pathetic thing these clowns can do.
This is probably the worst finale IMO.
#1 - I think Crocodile should've gotten 2nd and Mushroom should've gotten 3rd, again, my opinion.
#2 - The winner was predictable. In Ep 1, we didn't even have to hear anyone else. We already knew the Sun was gonna win, the competition wasn't even fair.
#3 - The Seahorse wasn't there. They should've done the Super Six in the format of a Super Six. And it would've been Sun, Seahorse, and Crocodile.
#4 - Overall, this season is probably the worst. Looking at the results, Season 3 is the worst for sure, its a damn crime that Astronaut and Kitty were 6th and 5th, but this format was garbage. Its pretty close but whatever I'll say Season 3 is the worst because at least a deserving winner won.
This season still sucked tho lol
@bota lucas I agree I liked the format in Season 2 and the finalists and I know people like Rottweiler but I think Fox deserved to win.
@bota lucas my favorite right now is probably Chameleon because I like the costume and I think he has a cool voice but I like Crab and Black Swan as well.
