You can see people but,they were edited in along with the clapping and voice soundtracks. I'll still never understand it because Garth was cheating on his wife with Trisha, but it didn't matter... She had great songs, a great voice, I wonder if the industry just didn't push her because she wouldn't sleep with certain people (after MeToo I'm a cynic about these things). The only other explanation is she didn't promote herself well enough. I analyze it every so often and I just don't know why she wasn't the huge superstar that Taylor Swift was when she sounds better and even looks better than her tbh.
I think she punished herself believing she fell from grace when the music settled down and her marriage fizzled and the affair blew up in her face for years. I'm so happy to see her singing her heart out with the past in the rear view mirror. May it always be that way.
My mom said that sometimes the entertainment industry can be very cruel to stars. LeAnn's public affair really damaged her reputation in the industry when people should be separating the singer from their personal lives. Hopefully now that has changed. She was phenomenal the entire way through.
