Britton deserves the bowerman
Enter Katelyn Touhy
Nah it’s gotta be Jasmine Moore
Alfred deserves it more ngl. Her exploits weren't all done at ridiculous elevation.
@@jordanjordannis2258 2 collegiate records and before a few weeks ago it would also be 2 world records.
@@marsbars2889 If she had dipped under 50 seconds anywhere but Heaven, New Mexico then I would have been more amenable, but she got her time too high at elevation. Still a phenomenal talent, but i defer to Alfred
Britton such a standout here. Can't wait for outdoor.
This was nice. But alfred literally just set the collegiate record 39 min prior and came back to split 51.7 and pit texas in second she is strong. Britton Wilson is in the form of her life
What's your point?
Alfred's record was in the 200m.
Wilson just set a collegiate record in the 400m an hour prior.
400m record > 200m record.
You lose, Skippy.
@@christansdad 200m and the 60m record.
@@ISOinMotion Both were not done 40 minutes before this race. You are welcome to continue to be both wrong and willfully ignorant.
Please continue to compare the difficulty of a 60m sprint to a 400m sprint. Tell me more. I'm listening.
Do WiR accepted ?
@@christansdad ok im just analyzing two athletes in the race. I gave britton her props in the end and the 400 was earlier in the championship the 200 was right before the 3000 and 4x400. The feat is so incredible that ofili pulled out the relay and the commentators mentioned how hard the schedule was.
3:21, 26 - That's faster than the current world indoor record. Russia - 3:23, 37 in 2006.
Crazy part is they beat Kentucky’s outdoor record too 😭. These girls about to go 318 outdoors.
Lol these guys are so surprised by how fast they are.just amazing
Actually a world record!
Shame it doesn't qualify as they aren't all from the same country.
So this is why Arkansas built the new state-of-the-art indoor facility or track stadium for this reason for their gold champion Brittany Wilson in the title,,,, the state delivered the University of Liberty and Brittany and that student-athletes delivered big-time,,,, gold medal kudos to all I talked about
Arkansas became a track powerhouse decades ago when JohnMcDonnell took over as head track & field coach back in 1978. They were winning national championships when I ran for OU, and we were in the Big 8.
@@andrearatkovic4048 but I don't get it the razorback never can beat a cheetah or a big cat which is the fastest,,, IDK?
props to Julien for brining them back into the mix
They got destroyed.
Julian is a solid work horse
a 51, 51, 50, 49. woah!
Proud of our Razorbacks! ❤❤
I am an addict I'm a junkie I am here my house trying to get my fix I need this stuff instantaneous I want it so badly thank you so much for the fix I'll pay you tomorrow
I had my fix earlier
We here now
arkansas is going sub 3:20 outdoors this year and what’s crazy is next year’s team might be better than the one that just ran 😭
Womens world indoor record : Russia - 3:23,37 in 2006 . You know this?
High altitude.
Outdoors that converts to 3:17.75 to 3:19.75... They would've beat most of the pros and faced competition with team USA.
Altitude assisted.
This is also at altitude and Britton was ON that USA team without Britton they wouldn't have even run close to this time she split a crazy 49.20. She's a beast.
well Britton is on USA team but can easily be replaced by Athing and Dalilah. USA would go 49 + 48+ 48+ 47 adding Abbey and Sydney this should break world record lol.
@@dajosco115 would love to see the USA take another doping record off the books. The USA ladies have all the talent to make this happen.
High altitude.
BEAUTIFUL GORGEOUS!!!!! 🥰
RAZORBACKS!! WPS!!!
Go Hogs!
Second leg hand-off, Tex A & M ought to have stepped inward and OUT of the way, instead, she stepped IN the way to interfere with Texas hand-off.
these girls were eating
That's an unofficial WR for sure.
So going into this final event relay, it was Arkansas 54 points & Texas 52 points. if texas would have won & arkansas got 2nd in this event. It wouldve been tied at 62points. Who wouldve won the team title?
the Head coaches would have to race in the 60.🤔🤭 just kidding, they would stay tied.
"You've got be aware where the people is on that track." What a brilliant announcer.
He does this ever year!!!
The other commentator has been just as bad. I just watched two other videos from this meet, and in the Men's 800m he stated the runners will stay in their lanes for two laps when it is two turns on the track. Then in this race, he said one of the runners was going for the pole position in the middle of her run when she was going for the lead, and in the last leg, he said in the absence of a fall or dropped baton, Arkansas will take the title. How would there be a dropped baton with no more exchanges left?
I don't get your point. What should the announcer talk about - gymnastics? The guy is stating the incoming runner clearly impeded the outgoing Texas runner, and thanks to Julien Alfred it turned out to be a non-issue b/c Texas finished too far behind, but it could have been. No doubt this often happens in relays, and when it becomes a major issue, especially if it's USA T&F, then guess what. We will all talk about it...
